Couz inspired me to make a Cadira deck of my own months ago and it is one of my favorite decks to play. Getting exponential rabbit tokens and swinging the horde out for the win is always so satisfying!

Hapatra could have put the -1 counters on her own snakes to keep the table empty with GP. After a few turns the GP just couldn't keep up and it was too late. Also Andrew, if you scry and keep it on top whilst missing land drops, you know things are not going to get any better

Andrew if your looking for a new Sultai commander to replace Otrimi why not try Indominus Rex, it has a similar feel to Otrimi but isn't so delicate and is much faster to get going (though yeah it still gets dunked on by grave pact)

playing a 1/1 Selkie with Hapatra on the table and an open player is certainly a move.

My commander for 5C mutate is Sliver Hivelord, though you have to keep it as the top card for it to stay indestructible. Most of the mutate creatures are smaller than it at least, so its not a terribly big loss most of the time, also running Hivestone in the deck to spread the indestructible.

Take out high cost non-mutate cards and use lower cost creatures like 3 or less bc otrimi cost 4 for it mutate cost. I know non targeted is nice, but that dude costs too much 5 to get 75% hexproof and a temporary indestructibl not the best creature you can use other cards that do the same for way less. Use Slippery Bogle instead cost 1 and has hexproof and the other one darksteel myr cost 3 with indestructible (not the best but better cost) Also another good card is Ornithopter of Paradise (or maybe Pilgrim's Eye if you want to add land to you're hand) mana fixing, mutate target, and flying Run any single target protection to keep your commander and key keyword creature alive Run the the other apex mutate creature as a back up in the main 99 not alot of people think you run it along with your commander. Making a new target to keep them off your commander.

I am playing Brokkos with a lot of Hydras and a +1/+1 theme in addition to a lot of mutate cards. Its a lot of fun although it in times plays a lot more like a voltron deck. Just for you to consider different aproaches. Love your content!

Have you considered illuna? I had that as the mutate commander and it was absurd how many permanents you could get out at once.

Otrimi is a nice deck but voltron based :/ And against a grave pact? No chances

Yeah, when your deck relies on having 2-3 nontoken creatures on the field, Grave Pact and Dictate of Erebos pretty much knock you out of the game... All decks had very few board wipes, and when facing swarms of token decks, not having board wipes is a death sentence.

First
