oh wow I uploaded something. This Aeor/Somnovum arc sure is getting to Cad eps 122,128 and 138 ---- No I do not own any of this. This all belongs to Critical Role RU-vid: / criticalrole Twitch: / criticalrole
I love the way this implies that Cad learned the curse words from those interactions and was then like "is this how I use these words in a sentence? Did I curse correctly?"
@@ollievalentine4239 yeah there is literally 2 instances in the entire campaign of him cursing on purpose. Him saying "Let's put this thing fucking down, let's end this shit" and his whole thing in episode 141. Trent REALLY pissed off the wrong guy
I had to pass that bit of info on to Talesin at NYCC, cause when my clock went off at 5 AM that first day, I was cursing my head off. He appreciated it!
I completely missed the first 'fucking' but I did catch the 'shit,' and was like 'wow, did cad just cuss?' XD Think I was distracted by googling what 'cadaver' meant.
honestly i loved early caduceus who was super sweet and naive and patient (he still is!), but it's been so satisfying seeing him grow and develop beyond that. my friend said once that caduceus was boring to him compared to other characters, and on some level I understand that, but because he comes off as very unassuming it makes moments where we're reminded abruptly that he's *not* unassuming that much more satisfying (ie. when he got mad at Jamedi Costco, when he threatened an enemy ship into surrendering, when he basically said "I won't hesitate, bitch" to Lucien). The innocence isn't a facade, he is very innocent in many ways, but he also made it clear to the Nein immediately that he is well aware of the violence inherent in nature, and that he is not afraid to be an instrument of that violence. god I love this man.
The anger when he storms onto the deck with “Get off our ship!” Before dropping a Spirit Guardians. “I wish for you in the future to find someone who will mourn you when you are gone. …Respectfully” yes 911, I’d like to report a murder. When Yasha and Fjord were fighting the doppelgängers in the mirrors and Cad enters dramatically through the mist as his guardians destroy two of them in the background and he just calmly asks how everyone’s doing. I could go on and on about this glorious firbolg, but I’ll end it on two of my faves “All a god is really, is a cult with a franchise.” “Help, it’s again.”
