Hefesto is push exsersize not pull 😌

I beg to differ… Hefesto is the reverse muscle up, so it’s a combination of pull & push. First part of the element is a bodyweight bicep curl that is a pull based movement, and the second part is a Korean dip that is push based movement. Push part is mostly performed when athletes want to finish the exercise by sitting on the bar. And 50% of the competetive athletes skip the push part and switch into next Element with a transition. So arguably Hefesto is a Pull Element in Calisthenics. “Pull exercises are strength training movements that involve a concentric contraction-a shortening of the muscle while moving two connection points closer together. Example of pull exercise is the biceps curl” “A push exercise contracts your muscles when weight is being pushed away from your body, meaning the work is done when the muscle lengthens.” Statics purists & statics competitions got it all wrong.
