I got out of this industry almost a year ago and I have never felt more alive. Sure it had been my bread and butter for 10 years but then again, every man has his breaking point. It's a better job than robbing someone lol but I realized, the stress just ain't worth it.
Yep the stress is never worth it, it was at the point I was discussing anxiety treatment with my doctor that it finally dawned on me I dont need medication I needed a different job !
@@ican9425 lol I'm not, I resigned a few months later, it was so draining and my work schedule was set in away where I wasn't able to enjoy life outside of work, I would have 1 day off randomly during the week, and another during the weekend, I was always so tired and would have to go to bed early for work the next day, then dreaded going to work in the morning (5:30am clock in)
It probably pays more on average. I'm a beginner remote call center agent, and make more than my teacher friend who has a degree and 10 years of being a teacher. pretty sad tbh
My call center experiences are horrible! You are a number to upper management that's it. But they pretend to be concerned when you don't hit your numbers. FOH
They should include the part in training where they go over unimportant information ab the company and then cram a bunch of regulations within 30 mins then make everyone participate in a game
I was working at a call center for 1 year and I decided to resign. It’s so dehumanizing and it was the best choice to resign and move on to something better.
After years of unemployment I'm about to start training for a CC on November 15 for Customer Service here in Costa Rica. I don't mind the negative feedback I wanna stay with this job cause I'm tired of being broke
The best thing that ever happened to me in call center was a black chick in training hating on me, she was shadowing me. I was helpful , with tips and on point on my calls. Got 5s on most of my calls. Could never hang up no matter what. Next thing I know I'm being played back old calls on days when I wanted to quit and was trying to leave early. I got a year of unemployment. Didn't miss that call center, I should have sued them. I was harassed nonstop and implied by others I was gay because I was paying a male coworker to pick me up and get me home. Glad them bastards had to pay me for a year to game, smoke out, and chill with the ladies lol
