Gary Rossington and Lynyrd Skynyrd. Call me the breeze. Learn how to play every lick in Call Me The Breeze on guitar at www.LEADSOLO.com Google "leadsolo" in quotes for all my videos.
Ok, that was excellent. Think it's probably the best solo guitar work G Rossington ever did and you really nailed it. All those super cool licks and they just fit the song perfectly. Dam.
I’ve been out of playing guitar way too long. This inspires me to start back very soon. Sooo much fun when the band clicks!!😁😁😁. That’s the most fun you can have with your clothes on!😆😆
A in the pocket guitar player haha first time for everything. I played bass in a power trio and we loved playing this song, turning it into a 15-20 min jam fest. Bravo you killed it.
I play direct into a mixer for these videos. On this I played through boss effects and an egnater amp. The speaker on the amp is great, but I didn't use it... just direct into the mixer,
Dude! You nailed every part perfectly! And more importantly, you showed me what the parts look like being played. I'm a bass player who caught the bug with this jam, and decided to cover it. Thank you. Rossington and dem boys ain't got nothin on you son!
Super clean man! Excellent! Just messed around with this progression the other day. Its amazing how a simple blues becomes complex with the picking/strumming pattern!
Gary would be proud! That was some super cool guitar playing, some of the best solos in rock history! Ah, I do love me some Skynyrd! With warmest regards to JJ Cale for writing such a cool song! 😉🎸🎸🎸💖👌🛸
Awesome dude!!! now I need to put it on 1/4 speed and try to learn it. I wish there was a slower speed then that. lol . Also good job on the audio and video editing
@@LEADSOLO Ya, I'm kinda a perfectionist and not picky to be a prick, it's just, if your going to do it, do it right. I always wait to see if your going to get a part that I know is coming up in a song and you do. Keep up the great work!
Wow I am from Alabama and I love Ronnie Van Zant and the whole lynrd skynrd band nice job and Allen Collins played the guitar for Lynrd Skynrd and you did a amazing job
sounds like Gary killing Bernice the way he always did Long Live Lynyrd Skynyrd. lifetime fan. I've seen you naileverything so far bro keep it up you don't just love the guitar you have a passion for it. I wish hope and pray that these new kids will bring all this back someday. I have only seen James Bell as a youngster rip a guitar up the way it is supposed to be ripped up. God bring back rock and roll. thank you and with your help that just might happen.
Gilbert Almarez thats what we're trying to do brother. Bring back the glory days of rock and roll. Where skynrd, foghat, zz top and many other greats ruled the airwaves.
Super duper playing. I saw them in 87 on the 10 yr anniversary of the crash on the Reunion tour and They were at their peak of badness. They were serious business. Gotta check out the documentary of that Reunion tour called LYNYRD SKYNYRD REUNION -FULL 1987. See for yourself how po!ished they were.
That was perfect. I could hear the original solo in the background and you matched it note for note. I was going to ask you how you learned this, then I went to your website where you explain in great detail. I can sort of play this solo, but it needs a lot of work! I'm going to try your methods. They make sense.
+autocrow Thx for your comments. And yes I'm glad you get it about me mixing it in so you can hear both guitars. Most people just complain and say I'm not loud enough but I like to keep true to the mix and also let the listener hear the notes are correct.
No I just learned it off the normal mix recording. I've been figuring out solos for a long time. The normal mix of this song gives me no problem at all to hear the lead guitar parts. Thanks
There's more than one guitar playing every song they play usually. As you can see he plays a couple parts here. Just so you know, These boys lived in a CABIN, I forget where. But they would rehearse some time for 20 hours I read in a magazine. Dedicating yourself to the guitar is how you learn fabulous skills on it. HOURS & HOURS of play. Some people never reach these highs. I've been playing most of my life, and okay, but not even close to bad ass. lol great playing bud. I've got some covers up. I play & sing Rock & Country. Thumps up to you.
If I could do this I would be playing live as much as I could and snorting all the coke I could lay my hands on and eating as much poonarni as I possibly could without suffocating.
