Super helpful. My passenger vent creaked so much, used this to take out the vent and add some foam sticky pads and now its all fixed.

I appreciate your DIY videos. Having made a couple failed attempts to do them, I have an appreciation for the work. Do you still have the suede panel in, or have you switched to the CF? Really considering that dash for my ZL1, but I'm curious about potential sun glare laserbeams.

Not sure I would do the dash on mine. Just picked up the 50th edition. I like the alcantara sections in it but I also like that 50 logo embossed in the dash. Hmmmm decisions decisions..

Really appreciate all the install walkthroughs on your channel. Just got myself the Carbon Fiber dash panel for my 2020 LT1, but my 7 inch infotainment seems a bit different to remove to access that 1 bolt. Do you happen to know the right way to go about it?

@@Lethalgarage It's all good man, figured it out. The face/outer bezel of the radio pops off (just clips) and there are a few more 7 mm bolts holding the radio in place behind that for anyone who might stumble upon my comment.

Great videos! Can you (or anyone else) provide instruction on how to remove the panel around the center air vents? I laid a key beside the shifter, and it slid up under that piece. I've been googling for a while now, but can't find any good answers.

Yeah funny you say pull it all apart. This is an old apartment key that I'm going to get charged $50 for. I had to get an oil service today at my dealer, so I asked them about that bezel. Apparently, you can't just take the bezel around those center air vents off. You have to take that whole center console out, which was going to be at least $175. I guess I'll just eat the charge for the key. lol

The chrome on the outside vents is very hard to take off without braking. I just ordered two new chrome rings, painted them and broke off the old ones to put the new ones on

I think you can, but I am not sure about the power connections. I am fairly sure they are different.

The entire vent pushes and snaps in. If it just the silver trim only... not sure

Yup just pull on top right corner of radio, the face plate pops off then remove the 4 screws same as in this video
