I'm 61. Always been a Nick fan. Once again heartbroken. Discovering this album is amazing. Feels like the hug you need

I am 67 and absolutely loved this. Discoverd Nick Drake from a sampler LP called "Bumpers". Ashamedly used the original track to Woooo my now missus Jane back in 1978. I still think the lyrics have a great meaning : Do you feel like a remnant Of something that's past Do you find things are moving Just a little too fast. Do you hope to find new ways Of quenching your thirst, Do you hope to find new ways Of doing better than your worst. Hey slow Jane, let me prove Slow, slow Jane, we're on the move. Thank the almighty, still moving. Parce

Why are people so miserable about covering these great songs? I think it's brilliant to hear different artists takes on them.

Really enjoyed this cover, probably the most of the new songs released on today's album (I've been waiting for months!) Mostly like all of the covers.

J adore! Merci Camille 💕 pour cette belle interprétation. J aime beaucoup les peintures en fond de vidéo, est il possible de savoir qui a fait ses oeuvres?

If songs were lines in a conversation the situation would be fine. Probably the most poignant lyric Nick ever wrote about himself. Great cover

Gabrielle said in an interview that the lyrics to Know pinpoint exactly who Nick was.

Why is there an outbreak of people ruining Nick Drake songs?

The cynical music business and probably artistes who had never heard of him. I do like the Fontaines DC version of Cello Song though.

Yet another duff cover of a masterpiece, some simpering pop poppet auditioning for the next excruciating John Lewis Christmas advert.

Your "some simpering pop poppet" = only one of the most innovative French singers of the last 20 years ! Must admit that this is a little bland though. Try her version of "One of These Things First" with Piers Faccini and Dom La Nena ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-aNGOjeHwCOY.html

@@samjul40 Hello again. Yes, your link brought up a very fine version of the song and a typical story about a caretaker and resident calling the police. The Beatles suffered the same thing of course, THAT rooftop session. There's always an r.sole trying to stop art. I KNOW about that.
