All you had to do was loosen the u bolts and tap the spring leaves back into alignment. Strongly suggest you get or make reinforcements that go in the spring hangers. They're just a piece of flat the width of the spring and bent on about a 90 deg. Weld them on the inside of the hangers. May be able to get them from Lipert. Spring hangers will break right where they're welded to the frame. There are plenty of pictures on RU-vid.
130 ft/lb torque for U-Bolts seems excessive and maybe that's why 'locking' washer were destroyed - In accordance with on-line E-trailer ...9/16" bolts torque value range is 60 ft/lb - 95 ft/LB while 1/2" bolt torque value range is 45 ft/lb - 70 ft /lb.
