Our very first camping trip of the year at Pinecrest Campground was a total blast! Pinecrest provided us with great views and fun activities. Everything we wanted to do was right there, and within walking distance. They even had a cute coffee shop, a general store with all the essentials, and a cool amphitheater! They had tons of stuff you could rent like bikes, kayaks, motorboats, and paddleboats by the hour. The restrooms were well kept, and our neighbors were super chill. Awesome video!!!! Been going to pinecrest for about 18 years now love it each time! If you guys go back I recommend taking a hike up to cleos bath, and for fishing bait use the power-bait yellow or pink with garlic scent works like a charm!

Beautiful scenery. Beautifully made video. Beautiful young couple. I am bringing up my 10 year old son up to Pinecrest for the first time tomorrow for the weekend. Excited for a solid Father and Son bonding time. This video definitely helps and I am hoping to create the same beautiful memories that the two of you have made. Thank you.

Hi there! I’m heading there next week. I’m camping at the Pinecrest campgrounds. I was wondering, do you happen to know if there is an entry fee to get into the forest? If there is, do you need to pay for it online? Or can you pay in person when you arrive? Thank you so much!

Hi! Hmmm... I don't recall paying an entry fee. We've made reservations through Recreation.org and paid for our spot online. When we arrived, I believe we just provided our name and showed them our email reservation. If you made reservations online already, you should be fine. Have fun!

Very happy found this video. We're planning to go here at Pinecrest next year with my children (our first camping). So the water is cold even if its summer? which campsite number you were on? and lastly, your video quality is so good! may we ask what camera did you use? Thank you so much for sharing this video!

Aw, thank you for your sweet comment! Your family is in for such a treat - especially if it's your first camping experience. This place is a real gem with so much to offer. It's def cold in the early mornings and evenings, but we did see plenty of people enjoying the waters in the afternoon. We were in site C0005 which was close to the restroom, but far enough so people aren't passing through your campsite. We used a GoPro 11 ☺. Have fun!
