Our family friend invited us to stay at their historic cabin at Pinecrest, CA this summer. The lake is fully stocked with hatchery trout. It took a bit of guess work when it comes to bait but we were able to catch a few. An Anglers Lifestyle Place of Interest.

You should try Beardsley Reservoir which is near Pinecrest.
