@@liounique1177 not really. Heria explained the minimum requirements to do a muscle up but not the exact technique. To unlock the technique you need to pay a subscription in his thenx app. On the other hand this guy tells you more clearly that you need to pull yourself towarda the bar once you are up with your knees. Chris heria never said that
You can save shorts to your playlist just go to your watch history, click on the 3 dots next to the video you what to save, then click on save to playlist from the drop-down menu
From how I learned doings pull ups, I assuming that first muscle up is the hardest, just like first pull up. Once you can consistently do one, it will not take long to do second (in a row)
Great video. Was no where close to getting it, but after this video I was able to get it on the third try. You hit the nail on the head with me trying to do a regular pull up to my chest first rather than pulling straight to my hips.
Pre step 1: lower the bar and star from there until you get the form down. Once that becomes natural then raise the bar a little at a time until you can do the full range of motion
that requires an insane amount of strength. theres nothing wrong with using momentum in a muscle up. you can call this an "actual" muscle up. but i guess it is still the next step lol.
@@WeightedCali he does but he’s a lot more flexible from what I’ve seen so it’s a lot easier for him to get around it 🤷🏽♂️ Then you can consider contortionists and well….. yeahhhhhhh. They’d be doing some bippidy boppidy WTF things on those bags
@@WeightedCali nah, Chris recommends performing pull up motions as rows, so at the highest point of the movement the bar would be on your chest level instead of chin level, so it's easier to go from there
I swear on everything you pinpointed exactly why I can't do a muscle up.. this while time I was pushing up, causing that over flaring of the shoulders.. I can't wait to test this out because at this point I can already do 15 pull ups.. definitely would be a great new stimuli for my body.. many thanks friend😎
Thank you so much for this lesson im glad you broke it down with details when people say this how you do muscle up they just say 123 not 1 &2&3 details all about details
@@auroralane8523 OP is just one of those who tries to get likes by making lame jokes even if he appears to be a goof! Apparantly getting few like for them worth enough to look stupid.
Thank you for this explanation. I was legit trying to go straight up through the bar because I didn’t know any better. You’re the first one I’ve seen mention swinging instead of just ‘practicing over and over again’ until I can do a muscle up.
to be fair, swinging is actually an easier form since it uses momentum, you should be able to do it from a standstill ideally. it's just much harder to do, like if you look at chris heria do one, he has no swing at all and goes straight up, that's proper form.
Thanku brother your tip worked I was always good at weighted pull up and dips but couldn’t do a muscle up today I did it easily after seeing this video on my feed thanku❤
I've never been able to do them. I saved this video a couple weeks ago, and I finally made it to the outdoor calisthenic gym today, and literally 5 minutes ago, after watching this video and failing a few times, I just did my first muscle up.. not only that, but I did 2 in a row! Thank you so much for this!!!
Bro, perfect! Just saw another vid with no light and horrible audio (bc the guy wanted to remain shirtless therefore NOT MIC’d) that took 15 minutes to explain this same concept 🙄🙄 THANK U for getting to the point quickly, WITH lighting AND a MIC! 😂😂😂😂
I just tried this and I can actually do muscle ups now. I can do 1 confidently. Now I’m working towards doing multiple in a row. Great video thanks so much I am gassed I can do a muscle up🎉
this video helped me to do a muscle up in two days, i'd say im crazy strong for pullups but i never could never perform a muscle up until i saw this video
You really made an amazing video! You brought out the points in a concise way, and chunked it into bits so that it's easier to process. Absolutely love this, keep it up!
Thankyou m8 I really appreciate this I was going straight up and got 1 arm up as soon as I waited till swung back a little I knew I'd got it even though not first time the slight swing is the key thanks so much
