Just ordered my Magic Mirror kit tonight. I have removed my mirrors twice now, and figured it was time to make life a bit simpler. Thanks again for the tutorial.
I would like to follow your installs but you do not say what tools you need or show the removal.. can you list the tools needed in the description?? that would help. Thanks.
And popping them up and off in 2 seconds is slower? I understand your concern but trust me on this, once swapped out they are sooooo much nicer then the stock plastic ones. My battery died and when putting it on the trailer to take to the shop (because no one with in 50 miles of me had one that would work) the tow truck guy bumped into the mirror and broke the top clip on the left side. I didn't catch this until months later when I road again and the mirror started to wiggle and almost fell off. once the magnets were installed it actually IMHO is stronger.
