Police be like : we can lie and deceive you. Then they have the audacity to claim no one is coming forward to talk to them when they are investigating a crime because no one trust them….🙋🏾🤦🏾
In the state of Oklahoma, a police officer commits a misdemeanor if they lie, engage in fraud, or practice any form deceit, to any person whom may be called as a witness, including a suspect or person charged with a crime, in order to get that person to change or alter their testimony in any way. See 21 OK Stat § 21-452 (2021)
Hear is a question: If the Cops are allowed to lie to you how can you know 100% that they aren't lying when they say you are being detained or under arrest?
Exactly great question.... Unfortunately they are more than willing to murder you to prove the point, and with qualified immunity they will get away with it.
Okay, please respond. If SCOTUS says lying to a suspect is legal.. then can anything they say be believed? Can they lie on a report or their supervisor or in court? Has this been challenged in court? Can the prosecutor also lie and coherence you under the color of law?
Can police lie to you about being able to arrest you, but don't arrest you. The officer told me well I am not going to arrest you tonight, but you need to turn yourself in on Monday which was two days later. No warrant or nothing. I asked her for her card she said the department don't give them none she just works patrol.
