I really hope this is scripted because REAL friends would either try to make the destination on their own dime or DEFINITELY turn down the offer for a free ride when couple they "love" so much needs every dime they can muster. Not to mention there is a whole other wedding stateside of ceremony & reception!! The cake lady was a vulture for her own gain. Bride totally steamrolled the Groom. TWO weddings!! Poor gullible guy. 🙄 wow! I'm really trying to use kind words to Groom for putting up with her.

Much is scripted and edited out of all these episodes you seem them argue about things and during ceremonies and post interview you hear how the two were on same page,also how many times they were under budget before the ones that's thrifty adds or they both wanted the " vision"

From the comments here, people seem to have forgotten that this is about as fake as fake can be. It is carefully staged to be as outrageous as possible. Liz, Phil and most of the bridal party were drama majors at school. The comments here are a tremendous compliment to her acting skills.

Producers actually approached the Bride, laying down the choice: either be depicted as mean or as dumb. That's the choices we have for women in this medium. We know reality TV is fake, but the realness of the misogyny in these comments is hard to ignore. Seems like she cares more about making her friends feel special than making a happy married life.
