The entire time I'm watching this, I'm just thinking "finally, we broke having infinite treasures".

The live brewing episodes like this one and the fransisco episode are cool, i really enjoy them. Maybe every set that comes out you try to brew one deck out of a new card? might be fun

My first CEDH deck was Krenko mob boss, it presents wins surprisingly often and quickly but being in mono red it gets stopped very easily and has a hard time recovering after the first attempt

The juxtaposition from "KCI only makes colorless mana" to Crime Novelist was funny.

I think treasure nabber is a good include when running blood moon effects and having an artifact saccer in the command zone

goblin trashmaster seems pretty good with krenko. You can sac a goblin to destroy an artifact, then since the artifact goes to grave, krenko triggers and you can pay a red to get another goblin. It essentially turns into pay 1 red to destroy an artifact

So, the thing with crime novelist is that the most common sac outlets being the alters, you can get infinite mana or infinite mill. If you use altar of dementia, you get infinite mill, and ashnods alter and phyrexian alter both give you infinite red mana. I personally would run that combo, especially because you just win the game with krenko in your command zone (make infinite mana, cast krenko, keep making mana but put that mana into goblins) Edit to explain the combo: with animation module and crime novelist on the field, if you sac an artifact you put a counter on novelist and make a red mana. Animation module triggers, allowing you to pay 1 to make a servo artifact creature token. With ashnods alter or phyrexian alter, this allows you to sac the servo to make a mana, which triggers crime novelist. This presents a loop which allows us to make infinite red and colorless mana with ashnods, or infinite mana of any color with phyrexian alter. In either case you then cast krenko and continue the combo, filtering mana through him to make infinite goblin creatures with haste. If you swap phyrexian alter with alter of dementia, instead of making infinite mana, you mill a card or force an opponent to mill a card every time you sacrifice the servo. In either case, this allows you to win the game, either by swinging out with infinite hasted goblins, or milling out your opponents libraries.

this could be a bit of a stretch, but mycosynth lattice? it makes goblin artifacts among other things, so with a skirk prospector you go with infinite etbs

Curious what you guys think about including Magda and Maskwood Nexus in this deck? Since it’s such a treasure-heavy deck Magda becomes an extremely powerful tutor IMO, especially if you tutor up Maskwood Nexus with her because then she can tutor any creature in the deck.

Don't forget Goblin Recruiter exists. Also, if you play Kiki or Sharpshooter you might as well be on a Snoop line even though it is kind of bad. Also, Thornbite Staff is a combo piece with OG Krenko and is possibly worth considering. Someone else mentioned Skullclamp, that 100% needs to be in here because you have NO card advantage engines at all 😂

Love when you guys build decks, it’s great to see the process and thoughts that go into choosing cards, but also especially enjoy the end where you mulligan and evaluate hands.

As someone who still works out their decks like this with their roommate I'm loving these deck brewing videos.

I've been watching your channel for a bit now and have been more invested in cedh. My 2 loves are goblins and artifact decks so this is right up my alley! Now to proxy and test haha.

Everyone is excited by the deck and building and here I am just excited for the Kennywood sweatshirt!

I'd say the 2-mana rock you should be running is Liquimetal Torque, as it gives you a lot of extra utility with the various artifact interactions in the deck. Goblin Rabblemaster is one to be a bit careful with due to the forced attack on all your goblins, which could create some awkward situations. Two other potential combo pieces are Sword of the Meek and Salvaging Station. Both give you ways to recur an artifact so that you can keep triggering Krenko. Station in particular is likely to be too costly for normal play, but if you're running a lot of ways to cheat in artifacts it might be feasible. Finally, one other mono-red Breach line is to add Slag Fiend alongside Altar of Dementia. The nice thing it has over grinding station is that with enough artifacts in your deck you can increase the number of cards in your graveyard during the loops, whereas with Grinding Station you're stuck on the same number.

I'm sure others have mentioned it, but the thing with Crime Novelist and Animation Module is that it keeps its own loop going, so whatever your sac outlet gives you is infinite (in addition to an infinitely large crime novelist). Novelist + Module + Altar of Dementia = infinite mill Novelist + Module + Goblin Bombardment = infinite damage Novelist + Module + Phyrexian Altar = infinite red to cast your commander and immediately make infinite hasty goblins

gotta love this, gives me some inspiration for my top end krenko, mob boss deck (the one that taps for gobs). currently it aims to either make infinite mana, haste 1/1's or or just etb everyone to death with purphoros. really fun deck, but brightstone ritual would be really good in this deck. 1 red makes it so easy to get huge value out of

Dunno if it was said, but Reckless Handling is an option. It’s a very narrow tutor, but you’re in mono red so beggars can’t be choosers. Helps find your combo pieces or The One Ring.

Moria Marauder could be a good card advantage for the goblin synergy.

Instead of Mystic Forge you should have put in Experimental Frenzy. Has a downside of losing the cards in your hand, but you can play any cards off the top of your library. Another solid include, and sorry if you said it and I missed it, Dragon’s Rage Channeler. Card selection and fuels Underworld Breach. Was also going to mention Skull Clamp, but so many other people beat me to it.

Lol, I'm one-third of the way into this video, and you guys have pretty much just made Birgi Storm, but without the cantrips so far 😂

Mono red in cedh kinda needs a commander that can present wins(Godo, Magda and Slicer are the main ones), the color isn't strong enough without one, and I'm afraid this Krenko just isn't cutting it.

Thank you for the video, I sadly dont have the time to play as much as I used to, but loved Modern and Legacy goblins. Throughout the video I was think Pashlik Mons would fit here nice (maybe as a commander?) because he is a mana sink that can win the game. If you dockside loop, you can save the treasures and attempt to win at instant speed to work around the one ring. I also think Goblin Golith is a better six drop for edh but still not enough for this deck. Just my two cents, thanks!

If you cut Portal to Phyrexia it isn't quite as good, but Scrap Mastery and the Daretti Planeswalkers would be interesting. I also think vandalblast is honestly good if the game plan is to slow the table down. Tibalt's Trickery as an unexpected counter spell can also be super helpful.

I really love this theme you've having lately cuz I love creating decks! also I think you can use pyrokinesis, shatterskull smashing, reckless handling, reverberate, thunderclap, great furnace, treasure vault, brightstone ritual, tibalt's trickery, moggcatcher, all will be one, skullclamp, Guff Rewrites History,

Scrap Welder + Thornbite Staff is a bread and butter combo ive used in Daretti. Crime Novelist/New Slobad makes these cards go dumb nuts. Artifact creatures I look at are Triplicate Titan, Phyrexian Megamorph, and (Akki thundershot?) From Kamigawa Neon. The first give you infinite token artifact creatures, Akki burns for 2 each ETB. There is more that goes here too.

Brightstone ritual, skull clamp as obvious misses, shared animosity as a probably good idea, your goblins will get a pretty huge buff and be a lot more likely to swing for lethal or really mess up the ad naus players day

I like boltbend for some interaction in this deck. Krenko pumps himself so he is 4 power after he activates once which he can likely do the turn you play him.

I think krenko mob boss is up there. Just being able to double your clock every turn/every time you untap kmb is super relevant. It scales up super quick and there are a few infinites

This deck is so cool, I would absolutely play this for cEDH! I’m not much of a cEDH player, but I wonder if a card like Cast Into The Fire would be good enough to make it into a deck over something like Abrade? The 1 damage still picks off some things like mana dorks, esper sentinel and orcish bowmasters, and being able to exile an artifact is relevant in a One Ring meta

Thousand-year elixir might be a decent include. Good with your commander as well as the goblin engineer and the kuldotha forge master.

This vintage looking Kennywood crew makes my western PA heart happy.

Could add Throne of the God Pharaoh. Gets around the one ring and can still go wide. And it’s a two mana artifact, helps the goblin (go wide) strategy and a win condition. Also we’re missing Tibalt’s Trickery. Cause yes. And lastly Great Fernace would be an awesome include. And why don’t we have jeskas will again?🤙🏽

Big score would be a okay way to help sculpt you hand and if you include All will be one it can manage to get a lot of value of putting counters on your stuff and might as well include the red terror at that point might be to mana intensive though.

A fun idea for a video could be playing with the heros of the realm cards as commanders. It would be cool to see nira hellkite duelist repeately prevent losing or sol advocate eternal allowing dockside to be in the command zone Or maybe play with conspiracies, specifically the one that makes your starting hand 5, but you dont need to put lands into your deck, just to see how much cedh bungus you can fit into a deck

Also this should be a KCI deck! Also we can play an amount of eggs that make colored mana since we can sack them to Krenko. Energy Refractor can use the colorless to filter into red

I almost wonder if Sting, the Glinting Dagger to activate the commander on each player's turn is worth it in this deck? If we're leaning into its abilities, activated and triggered, it could be a way to squeeze some extra value out?

Skirk prospector, seige gang commander, and mycosynth lattice are too mana expensive, but making that happen would be quite a finisher

How do you guys feel about cast into the fire? I've been running it over abrade since it can exile the one ring. So far it's worked really well

We should definitely be playing the artifact lands. Great furnace, darksteel citadel, power depot, and the new scene of the crime card!

I like loyal apprentice in this style of artifact matters deck. Reckless handling is also a must have tutor in this deck. Also like roaming throne but have a feeling its win-more. Im not really huge on the kuldotha forge master being a five mana creature with a tap ability and no haste but tutoring portal is sick so idk

Krenko + Smokestack? favorite character + favorite archetype? nice!

Og Krenko is the best army in a can. Making one extra a turn with rabblemaster seems a way slower clock. Skirk Prospector and the haste enabler mean Krenko can also go infinite with cloudstone

12:14 - The Irencrag should be run in any mono color deck in the 2 mana rock slot. The versatility of it pumping a creature late game can be game winning.

What about something like Den of the Bugbear? I know that it can be slow sometimes, but it enters untapped the turns you need it, and survives a Toxic Deluge as well as being another “army in a can” type card at the inclusion cost of a land?

Skirk prospector seemed like an automatic include ,goblin matron and goblin recruiter are goblin tutors so they should be in there too because they go get dockside.

Reckless handling from Aftermath is another good tutor for the one ring or cloudstone.

Doesn't the KCI loop work really well with Crime Novelist? since whenever you are doing the loop you are making the red mana from crime novelist to then use the Krenko ability. Also KCI, Animation Module and Crime Novelist create an infinitely big Novelist along with all the infinite 1/1 red hasty goblins.

Skullclamp is definitely the most obvious one you guys miss. Fun episode

I don’t know if it’s too slow, but reckless handling as another gamble for a one ring is good I think, I run it in Niv Mizzet for another jewelled lotus finder

Grenzo Goblins (lite) is legit cEDH. Perhaps not tier1, but it can win at any table given the correct build.

Would it not be the opposite with the triggers? Wouldn’t you activate the first one, paying the sacrifice cost, then the second trigger goes in the stack, then the other one goes in the stack after?

My dumbass would totally throw reckless fireweaver and ancient copper dragon in this deck. I just love bonking people with damage for making tokens, and the heavy lean into artifacts could help.

If you're fine with going as high cost as kuldotha forge master may as well play mycosynth lattice. Make your gobbos Artifacts. Wandering throne to double your gobbo abilities. Might be worth trying mana echoes. Tremor effects would probs be good. Purphoros bronze blooded may be worth a try cheats in artifact and red creatures. Could also be a good sneak attack deck

Academy Manafuctor can be solid include in my opinion infinite treasures are good as always Clues if you need to draw and foods to give you more cards from the one ring or just sac fodder. Skullclamp for card draw might be tempting but in a world with orcish bowmasters it is a toss up.

Would Mycosynth lattice be any good in this deck? It would allow you to sac creatures to the altar's to trigger Krenko, but it might be a win more card at that point. It would also suck though if someone played an ouphe or null rod... Not to mention colour fixing your opponents (not that that really matters a ton, but it's a consideration nonetheless).

I put in Agatha's soul cauldron, all the tokens being a mob boss, sharpshooter or Kiki is fun

9:20 If you include Phyrexian/ashnod’s altar, it is infinite mana. And with Altar of Dementia, it is an infinite mill.

11:37 Infernal Plunge could be another ritual to think about considering the amount of Goblin tokens you can make

Though not entirely the same, I have some suggestions for possible cards from having played a more mid power Ashnod the Uncaring: - Pyrite Spellbomb (kinda crappy removal or replaces itself) - Scrap Welder (Goblin Welder at home) - Stone of Erech (Graveyard removal kind of? Also cheeky static ability) - Soul-Guide Lantern (Similar to Stone) - Baubles (Urza’s and Mishra’s, free to cast and some card draw. Conjurer’s Bauble is also kind of okay) Retrofitter Foundry? (Fetch-able off Saga, makes bodies to sac to altars)

Etb damage causers like impact tremors or purphoros possibly for the infinite tokens

Universal automaton might be good here, like Magda we get utility out of it being both an artifact and a goblin

I feel like jeweled lotus is good to get your commander out turn one. With it and one land you get an instant trigger of your commander if anybody does any artifact sacs turn 1 after you. Also reckless handling to search for artifacts?
