Blame the buyers that fall for buying over MSRP. They see people are willing to paid more and take advantage.

The accord is Honda's worst selling car. The civic makes sense but the accord is not selling at all

It’s a fake story, no salesman laughs in your face and walks you to the used cars without saying anything, it sounded better in your head but in the real world it just doesn’t happen.

Same here, went to Lamborghini of Scottsdale and the salesman laughed at me when I asked if I can pay all cash. I was so upset I got on my bicycle and rode straight to Toyota.

@@apunited I have a friend that is selling all his stuff. Autos, house, etc, and moving to Hawaii. This will probably happen to him there.

Manufacturers would rather collect a check for wholesale cars, parts, etc... than have to establish service centers across America.

i like to test and see my car in person before just putting an order in.

Who's going to update an old system that rips people off and is protected by the government to keep things going. I hope things change but I wouldn't hold my breath. It would be nice if we can vote with our wallet but the demand is there from the upper classes

Now that you bring that up, I feel like I’ve seen more Type S at MSRP or a minimal markup than the Type R. Which is interesting because I’m from SoCal and you’d expect all of them to be really high over

I’ll have to play with that. I figured it was programmed in to make it run clean. I know when the throttle slams close the NX gasses go sky high. I’ll play with some of the settings and see if the changes are noticeable. Thanks for the comment

Honda chose Michelin Pilot Sport 4S for performance. They've been the best all-season tires for many years.

I’m a little OG and kinda making it closer to the original ITR. I still think the ITR is leaps above but like I’ve mentioned before, this might be the last best Honda we get. Thanks for your logical sounding opinion, it would be boring if we all liked the same thing.

Thanks for that information. It’s pretty interesting and makes alot of sense. It sucks that some dealers are very greedy and have excessive mark ups. One dealership keeps calling me ( the one that wanted $20k over) and dropping their price. I told them I’m still in the market for one as I’m interested to see their approach. They have dropped it to a $15k mark up as of now.

I learned a lot about franchise car dealership operations. I would like to add : Dealership allocation of cars and trucks. Sometimes car manufactures will have to allocation of limited production of cars or trucks to the car dealerships and regional district manager of car manufacture has the task of allocating certain number of limited production cars or trucks to new car dealerships. Once an allocation is set for the dealership; they will receive notice of when the next allocation will be available by regional district manager (ie:45 or 60 days for dealership receive next allocation). I always people that time is on your side with limited production cars and trucks. Sooner or later, the market adjustment price will go away by the sale management team and they will sell the car at msrp. Because the dealership that is calling you (with $15K markup) is selling a lot of Accords, regular Civics and other honda vehicles to keep the CTR on the Floor Inventory each month and hope that somebody is willing to paid over msrp. The new car model year usually starts in late Aug/ early Sept for 2025 and the 2024 cars and trucks have to be sold to make room for the 2025.

I think it has to do with location also. The dealerships that get away with it continue to do so. It’s still sucky and I think the manufacturer shouldn’t allow it.

They are listed at MSRP until you personally go ask about the price. They will then slap you with a surprise markup or package you don't want. Honda dealers are trash!

@@sdlausen1 Yes, I drove an hour and a half on a car they told me ‘MSRP’ and it then added $3800 ‘ package’ last minute.

2 of my friends got theirs at msrp. They're out there for sure. Like he says u just gotta be patient and put in the time

Did install the Hasport upper torque/lower rear mounts with the 62a based on your older video. Huge improvement. Added a HDP clutch pedal brace as factory pinch welds are known to crack. Surprised you never have mentioned the HDP (K-tuned) clutch pedal brace, unless I've missed it

You don’t need half that. Just An intake and the Hondata will vastly improve the driving experience. A tune is not necessary you will be able to improve the throttle response and hang by changing the settings yourself.

I’ve had 2 8th gen si’s. They are my favorite!

Mine was for 3k under msrp but got hit with 3,200 in add ons which where alcantara steering wheel paint protection bull shit all weather floor Mats illuminated type r door whatever the fuk there called, leather shift knob and they gave me all the original equipment which was the leather steering wheel and og shift knob
