Can you drive a cammed truck with a stock converter?

I have a sloppy stage two cam in my 5.3 powered all wheel drive Chevy truck. How does it drive with the stock torque converter?
I’ve had some people ask for my address to send along something, so I thought I’d leave my address here incase you’d like to! I appreciate you guys.

That’s actually quite streetable. It’s not a crazy cam, but it’s not nothing either. Excited for the 6.0L, turbo, improved shift machine and magical water wheel install though.

Sounds great Barry........it would be a great daily in that configuration.........but 6L with a turbo and a 3000 stall 😁😁

Nope it had stock manifolds, and then a set of headers that I made from pie cuts lol. I wonder if they’ll fit

Sounds deadly, I am currently trying to get the trans back in my caddy. I miss dirty V8 noises.

@@StationroadRatrods to be honest It's been iffy from the start because I think I ran it low on fluid on the first trip. seemed like it was working well, but the lock up was shuddering in and out, then one day I was heading to gander for a meet and it started slipping again, so I got another one and put a tcc valve and a corvette servo in it, and am going to try to install it tomorrow.

Would you mind sharing your tune? I have a truck that I plan on doing this exact same setup to, eventually it will get a converter but I have a 6.0 with ss2 cam and 1218s and stock converter
