Hey man i saw a post recently that the army put out that from now on body fat doesn’t matter if you can pass a pt test/score higher than 500 something on the acft. If this is true can you make a quick video explaining it and what this means in relations to the future solider program for overweight soldiers. Haven’t been able to find much else about in anywhere. Thanks man love the content!

I was originally starting as an E2 cause I had college credit, but they suggested I do future soldier and I went though the whole program and I’m coming in as a E3(Private First Class)

24+ credits = e2 48+ credits or 2yr degree = e3 4yr degree+ = e4 🙏🏽

QUESTION I’m a Detective been a cop for 9 years. Do you know if the police academy will grant me an E3 or 4 enlistment ? Planning to go SF or Counter intel in the guard. I work with several prior sf and rangers. I have over 1500 hours of classroom state approved post hours.

Unfortunately you’ll need a degree or a certain number of college credits to enlist at a higher rank. You can earn rank through stripes for buddies (referrals who contract). I'm considering going into the guard. I've been out since 2015 so I will have to return to basic. Will I be able to wear my deployment patches and CAB or would that be frowned upon?

Hi,I'm a US citizen by birth but I have completed my Bachelor's and Master's from India. I'm 26 and I've been living in India for the past 22 years. Would I get a shot at being an CO if my degree has been evaluated by WES?

The Recruiting Command usually gets it evaluated and as long as it’s evaluated at a 4yr degree or higher you can def meet that education requirement for OCS. WES is fine but lately we’ve been primarily using FIS. I got out as an e6 and when I submitted my JST to my college they gave me 30 credit hours toward my degree. Most of it was electives, but some of it covered 1 or 2 of my business courses. Saved me a years worth of college.

I have to remove a hand tattoo which takes months so I was going to go to school in the process so when its done I could get a higher rank when I join but I dont think I can get 48 college credits before its done

I am confused, I watched another of your videos where you stated if we had 72 college credit hours or a 4 year degree we would go in at an e-4. Can you clarify please?

I’ve never said that and I believe you mis-heard. 4yr degree will get you e4. 48+ College Credits/2yr Degree will get you e3. 24+ College Credits will get you e2. Being an Eagle Scout will get you e3 last I checked. Joining through the CASP/Civilian Acquired Skills Program with certain CDL Drivers License and experience or being Nationally Basic EMT Certified will get you e4 in the CASP Program. There’s a few newer options too for that program. After enlistment you can use stripes for skills to earn from e1 to e2. After Enlistment you can use Stripes for Buddies which now can take you from e1 to e4, by moving up one rank for each referral who contracts. Hi! I’m waiting to join the guard. I have a masters and was told to shot for an officer position. How does that work? Also, I took the ASVAB practice test and scored a 40. I was told by a recruiter I needed a 50 on the actual test to be an officer and that my master’s degree is just part of the requirement. Can you provide more insight?

Hello there and thank you for reaching out! 50 isn’t a requirement but generally speaking 50 and above ensures your GT Line Score is 110 or better. Only Warrant Officer option as a non-prior service applicant is to go in as a Flight Warrant Officer. Otherwise, Enlisted or possibly go OCS to become a Commissioned Officer.
