Ever wonder how much smaller creators make in ad revenue on RU-vid? This video looks back on my first full year on RU-vid, and how much money I made from ad revenue and affiliate sales over that time. If this is your first video of mine, this channel has thus far primarily followed my journey transitioning from drifting on the game Assetto Corsa to my first time on a real drift track. In the video I talk about some of the struggles I've faced as a small motorsports and gaming channel trying to build my following on RU-vid. This includes talking about the gear I bought to start the channel, the money I've spent to promote the channel with RU-vid ads, and the cost for content creation within the automotive category.
Overall, just sharing my experience from my first year as a content creator on RU-vid, as well as some advice for other new creators. As with anything else it's had ups and downs, but looking forward to another year of Janky Drift.

My Story *********************
In 2022 I purchased a 2007 Nissan 350z to start attending my first drift events, and I've learned quite a bit along the way. The community has been great and I'd very much like to pay it forward and help anyone looking else looking to get into drifting for the first time. Any burning questions as someone wanting to learn how to drift? Send them my way and I'll either respond or cover in a future video.
