benz merc was the first thing I thought of 🤣. Always loved the cloud of colour when you left on San Andreas 🙃, and the ones of the similar era I guess for that matter.
@@tassoss13 nah I mix automotive paint every day and two quarts of a base coat clear coat paint like that will probably run like 90 bucks max, he just sprayed the entire car so it's not like he was blending it to match other panels so he wouldnt have had to spring for the best quality paint.
nah..just go to an auto 24/7 car wash and pour a few cans of paint in the water tank.. then just wait. driver just drives through and gets a free paintjob!. one off deal no refunds :P
I love watching this sort of outrageous stuff. It makes you think outside the box. Professional painters, and the manufacturers who make their equipment, have worked for many decades to perfect tools and methods that produce a high quality paint application. What professionals do is probably impossible to beat, but watching someone who is not interested in a perfect job can provide interesting incites into why we do things the way we typically do. Many things we do are tied to the high value we place on perfection. Once you throw that away, you open the door to some extremely creative, and often, entertaining, ideas.
As a tradesman I'm a painter, and I have to admit, I thought that car was going to have more runs than Usain Bolt. I am stunned, and I mean truly ... stunned, at the quality of finish. I'm still finding it hard to believe. You do realise there's gonna be thousands of guys now all over the planet thinking mmmmmm I'm gonna load up mine and paint the garden fence ..... in like 30 seconds. Brilliant brilliant video lol
@noxxi knox Crazy Taxi with queen latifa did the same thing... Just with a vinil wrap... Which was cutting edge back in the day but is super common now
How the hell do they think up these things ?!?!? Although it was far from perfect, the finished result was still a lot better than I imagined it would be. :)
I actually looked for exactly this kind of video since I wanted to know if I can use a pressure washer for my wood glaze since the professional machines are chicken shit .. looks like I’m giving it a try =)
Damm, that actually looks pretty ok for how long it took to do. I bet if you did some tweaks to the washer and polished the paint afterwards this would actually be acceptable for cheap used cars.
My father tried it about 20 years ago… he took a whole strips of firecrackers left from lunar New Year and put it in a bin of white exterior paint, the result is somewhere between a complete mess and modern art
I've been doing it wrong! Really fun, and looks better than I expected. You could speed dry times with the "fan car", too! Love the channel; best to you from Canada!
I had a identical car called Premier 118 NE in India back in 1998, me along with my friends keep painting the car in different colors, without even removing the old paint! This blue was my first! Nostalgic! 😊😊😊😊
Sometimes you just don't have lots of time to repaint your car (or your customer's car.) In such cases, the method detailed in this video is highly recommended; get the entire job done in under 2 minutes! If you need a high quality result, you can use a paint-roller for the trim pieces and mirrors, etc. I'm fairly sure that a guy could give his tired, old, musty interior a fresh makeover by simply speed-spraying the entire interior with the same equipment. It might be wise to tape off the interior glass beforehand, but perhaps it's not essential. Thanks guys; these training videos are phenomenal! New commercial concept: drive-through auto painting. (exterior only)
They already make a pressure washer painter. It's called a airless sprayer. It uses a PD pump, a reservoir of paint, and a spray gun with a small orifice.
Good job, but done in a safe area. It was in 1986, when we painted an old Junk-Ford Taunus. On a parking ground in front of a super market at a stormy day. We took some black and red colour sprays and went on. No tires, no glasses, nothing was covered. I think the owners of the cars around us was been surprised, when they've seen their mobiles :D. Covered with black and red fog.
Without the wand, it works better. I had to do something like this for sealing a bunch of soot covered wood. The painter never showed up, my paint sprayer was broken, and it was the only day it could all be painted before a building inspection. I thinned the paint to the consistency of milk, sprayed at 3-4 feet, with 4 thin coats. I used oil based paint.
i literally just watched the uaz video. yet this was released two weeks earlier. and here the uaz is glowing in the background in the yard o.0 mind blown
