The hospital taped my husband, also a hairy guy, fully around his arm. He said pulling that shit off was worse than the camera up his ass 😂😂 now if he has to go in and we think he's gonna get poked, I shave that spot for him 😂😂😂

Soak the gauze and the tape in warm water for 5ish minutes. It'll make the removal a lot less painful esp with the hair.

At least you only got one. When my mother was getting treatment the terrible nurse would blow out a vein at least once every single visit.

I agree, but they'll never stop. :( Given you're going through treatment, I'd suggest regularly shaving that part of both arms.
