Re: friendzone. It's also presumptuous to assume that because you're attracted to your friend, that they're destined to like you back in a romantic way. If they're not into you, ok. Then you're just friends. So here's the other side of people complaining about being friendzoned: you girlfriend-zoned your friend. You said I'd like to be with this person romantically. You only saw value in them for that purpose. Those are the people who complain about being friendzoned. Because they see the friendship as being less valuable, and the only reason they wanted to be friends was to date you. And the friendship isn't worth carrying on once you know they only see you as a friend.

Surprised Josh didn't know peeps contained gelatin. People should know that most all marshmallow products including rice krispy treats contain gelatin which is a pork product. Most gummies and candies like Starburst also contain gelatin. As well as many cheesecakes and all frosted poptarts. Carmine is a red food dye made of crushed bugs. Dole uses this alot in their fruit cups and juices. And many cheeses contain rennin/rennet which is secretions of the intestines of a cow

As for the cheesecake, it's always best to get one from a proper bakery. I'm a pastry chef whose made several cheesecakes from scratch. No gelatin added. You can't beat a perfectly baked cheesecake.

So weird, in my country gelatin has been a standard thing people are aware of for 20+ years, now its typical that products make an effort to avoid it. A lot of gummie-type candys etc have "gelatin free" on the packaging, or simply "vegan"!

To eat Peeps on their own, they have to be moderately stale. Peeps s'mores (bunnies or other flat shapes work best) made with Hershey's Special Dark chocolate are delicious. (Plus it's fun to watch them swell up in the microwave.)

I loved this episode. The race to the bottom really works. Also, I like the fact that both J & D has trivia facts at their beck and call. Peeps, however, are the worser. Candy corn just does the one thing-be nasty. It's not frontin' pretending it can be in a sommore or a rice krispie treat.

Hold Up Idea: Grocery Drive Up / Pick Up Order where you order online and wait in the parking lot for your order or pickup at the front desk VS. Going into the store and hand selecting everything and going through self checkout or a cashier.

Both of these candies are something you have to prepare for. Candy Corn is absolutely a LAST resort. Peeps are once in awhile "treat" but the most fun is burning/roasting them into these other shapes.

I am with Dulce that the pumpkins are FAR superior to the candy corn. For me, it's purely a texture thing, not a flavor thing. The pumpkins just usually seem softer and chew into a creamier feel and are just nicer to eat than the candy corn. I don't personally hate Peeps, but I don't like them as much as I did when I was a kid. Given a choice between mellowcreme pumpkins or Peeps, it'd be pumpkins all day. But between candy corn and Peeps? Might have to go with the Peeps. A really weird thing with me is I don't really care for black licorice... until Easter rolls around, and then I simply CANNOT get enough black jelly beans. The rest of the year? Nah, but at Easter? OH YEAH.

True story my dad was born in 1928 In Winchester Kentucky and the way they advertise candy back in the day is they would drop candy bars off On the side of the road on the school route where kids walked to school. He walked 20 miles every day to his school

I love candy corn. I have it shipped to me, overseas, every year. But you can only eat 1 or 2 pieces alone. If you really want to chow down on candy corn, mix it with some pretzels and nuts (I like almonds and peanuts). They keep the candy corn from getting stuck in your teeth, you balance the sweet..... it is the way

No one asked but….you can melt salt lol it just takes a looooooooot of heat because the bonds holding the salt together are very strong; Much stronger than the bonds that hold sugar together. As an example, you can melt table sugar at about 367 degrees Fahrenheit (186 degrees Celsius) but you’d need about 1,474 degrees Fahrenheit (801 degrees Celsius) to melt table salt.

Wow, first time I’m fully siding with Josh 😂! Still love you, Dulce ❤️! -In my experience, Peep is a deeply disappointing marshmallow. I think someone made me a peep s’more…and the abomination was tolerable for one bite. -But if ANYTHING tastes remotely like candy corn, it will not reach my esophagus and I’ll immediately leave the establishment that is serving the imposter “food.” Have never found a redeeming quality about candy corn. Ever.

Thank you. These both are so nasty. Candy corn was in my great grandma's candy bowl in her house for decades. I mean... the same candy corn. No one ate it so they never needed a refill. They were literally dusty. And they never degraded, lol. They are more wax than anything.

Yeah I've actually had marshmallows and cocoa before I bought one cocoa box where every time you put it in and you've had the hot water and mix they were already marshmallows in the mixture and it's delicious it's divine!

The problem with candy corn is that it’s too sweet! So I buy a small harvest bag of candy corn and it lasts me forever😂…..however, I, personally, think peeps are just plain nasty 🤮 but my daughter loves them! I think if you’re a marshmallow fan, you’ll love peeps, but I am not.
