I have installed hogue grips on my Glock 42 and my LCP II. (My primary carry guns). It made a huge difference in my split times. I can really get them locked in and those sights fall right back inline.
I put a similar Hogue grip on my Canik TP9SF. Not sure which one because I took it off a SIG I bought years ago. It doesn't go up as high in back. Has 2 finger grooves. Much better feel now. Also spent $80 on a Freedomsmith trigger & it helps a lot. Less pre-travel & over-travel & a slightly crisper break. I shoot this pistol as well as my Ruger MK3 .22 with a Volquartsen trigger.
My edc is a Canik Tp9sfx with a Holosun 407c x2 in a Mckinatec aiwb holster at night with a x300 style weapon light and in a Slimfit guard ultra aiwb during the day without the light. Live it. My belt in the Kore essential x5 ratcheting belt which is fantastic. I ha e a few videos on my setups.
Just curious here because I've been edc'ing a tp9sfx with a streamlight tlr1 hl in a slimfit holsters as well but I guess my question is, why do you carry without the light attached?
@Ricky Medina During the day, it's a little more convenient not to have the light, and I feel I'm less likely to need the light. Regardless, I always carry my handheld ACEBEAM Pokelit AA. Also, I like the slimfit holster better than the Mckinatec,since it it has a wedge and dual clips that keep the holster from tilting . The Mckinatec has a single tuckable clip that works well and is easier to put on and remove. It's just not as stable as the Slimfit. When it boils down. The stability of the Slimfit with its dual clips and wedge are the primary reason. If I get a lightbearing holster from Slimfit with dual clips, I probably would take the light off even during the day.
