I just bought the canon rebel t7 camera and I’m trying to get videos from the canon and get them to my iPhone but when I click the video and try to import it it say not supported and I have a iPhone XR and I’m using the canon connect app

I took some pictures and tried uploading them and none of my photos would download.. they would say saving photo but no progress was made not sure if it just takes a while or what’s the issue, in the past my photos would download quickly to my phone not sure what’s going on now..

Canon camera connect keeps disconnecting my wifi & bumps me off from the images. I’ve tried re-downloading the app / forgetting the wifi + reconnecting / & even resetting the wifi setting on my camera but nothing is working. It starts showing me images for a brief second & then it kicks off automatically from the wifi & I can’t access the photos anymore. Please help with this problem!

Hello, The encryption key will display on the camera’s LCD when you first connect it to the smartphone. After the initial set up you generally do not have to re-enter this key. We suggest that you clear the camera settings as shown on page 194 of the instruction manual. Here is a link: Canon.us/usvcg. Once you do this carefully follow the steps in the video. The encryption key will be displayed as shown at minute 2:53 of the video. You will enter this number on your smartphone where it asks for the password. Hi! The EOS Rebel T3i is designed to communicate with computers via a USB cable. As this camera does not have wireless capabilities, it is unable to communicate with mobile devices. Hope this helps!
Hello Morgan, The Canon Camera Connect app does not support saving the .MOV files, recorded by the Rebel T6, to your iOS mobile device. You may wish to use the Apple Camera Connection Kit to connect your camera’s SD memory card to your phone. You can then transfer the files to your phone. We hope this helps.

Hey. Just ignore that. You have no internet because you are connected to the camera through wifi. Connect back to your wifi after you download your photos.

Hello: The [Wi-Fi function] menu options will be grayed out until you enable Wi-Fi operation. You do this my choosing the [Wi-Fi/NFC] menu option and setting it to [Enable].
