From the Cantigas de Santa María, Alfonso X "El Sabio" n.384 A que por muy gran fremosura. Project with Ernst Stolz playing medieval fiddle Myself with the medieval psaltery and medieval harp. Enjoy!
My good Lord... I have been listening to this piece a few times now and at different moments. Always it brought me back in time. I can't say where, I can't say how but my whole body tells me I have been there before... And so have you, Vincente. So beautiful; both the man and the music. Thank you for such generosity!
+Vicente harpantiqua - Maybe one day I could sing or play (with my celtic harp) with you... Who knows... Just let me know if you come to Belgium, I would be pleased to meet you & share music :-) Have a nice evening...++
Sounds excellent! Never been to Belgium for playing, ..the closer place was France i went twice to medieval festival at Puivert... But yes, aounds good to me ;) do you know any festivals around there?
+Vicente harpantiqua Hola Vicente! Please find below the next festival this year close to my place, maybe it will be interesting for you... Don't hesitate if you need any information or translation about it, auf Deutsch auch, kein Problem ;-) ) Regards, Julie www.belgique-tourisme.be/informations/evenements-namur-les-medievales-de-la-citadelle/fr/E/46234.html
by the way your version you recorded for obsequiae is the best. Really lively. The first time I listened to it I was drunk and halfway passed out on my friend's couch and spotify randomly played it on its radio. It immediately got me out of the chair so I could note it down and listen to it next day and I'm still listening to it to this day :D S
Vicente harpantiqua / harpoetica And you did an absolutely amazing job at that. It’s my favorite part of the album and I listen to the instrumental renditions on their own very often. You don’t have a place where you sell the sheet music do you?
