Previously I have only ever made caponata to eat cold with salad, this is a slightly different recipe to the one I have used previously, but it made a delicious side dish served hot with some fresh mackerel .
This looks delicious! Who can seriously say no to a focaccia? You could also easily add some chickpeas to the vegetables, to get more of a meaty consistency.
you gorgeous don't like to put golden raisins? a nonna from a friend of mine taught me the recipe with raisins in, maybe that's why it was too sweet for my palate! will try without it next time. cheers from brasil :)
