You can really see how Steve was more of a brawler and boxer type of fighter while Sam is methodical and has a mma feel to his combat. Love the difference between the two.
I loved this too. I’m a martial artist and watching all the fights and styles get better in the movies was such a bonus. Steve did learn some MMA/Krav type stuff from winter soldier onward, but comparing it to the acro style Sam has, def a perfect balance and compliment of each other
@@dannybenhur6123 So what if it is, man??? If anything, it reiterates how Black people are living here, in this country, just as much as any other people but some people here in the USA STILL don't see them as American. Sam Wilson is Captain America, and he is a Black man, and everyone is going to have to deal with it.
"I'm a black man carrying the stars and stripes. What don't I understand? Every time I pick this thing up, I know there are millions of people who are gonna hate me for it. Even now, here... I feel it. The stares, the judgment. And there's nothin' I can do to change it. Yet, I'm still here. No super serum, no blond hair, or blue eyes. The only power I have is that I believe we can do better." -Captain America
The shield of Captain America, a red white and blue vibranium winged (comic book accurate) suit from Wakanda, all on top of a good-natured man with the courage compassion and understanding to try to reason with his enemy before resorting to violence. Even if negotiations fail he has enough gadgets and experience to help hold his own against a variety of threats without a drop of super serum in his veins. Sam Wilson is the thematical epitome of what an African-American superhero is and what that stands for!
@@allenchua823 Sam with that triple threat would be a force to reckon with for a lot of MCU villains. He could rain lightning down from the skies in concert with throwing the shield.
it shows greatly how Sam Wilson relies more on skills and techniques rather than strength since he’s a normal human, it’s cool how he made himself equal to steve through sheer hard work
@@holyflame2 he did, but the serum made him into a soldier, he was always a good man but he wasn’t a soldier before it. Sam on the other hand has been a good soldier and a good man
@kaushik Sarmah the wings aren’t a simple tool, the skill it took to use them was a reason they weren’t frequent. Steve did have incredible spirit but his physical prowess is something he did not achieve unlike Sam, no matter what you say Sam worked much harder for the title Captain America while Steve on the other hand just stayed true to his nature which was that of a good man
Yeah the fact he's just throwing it about without super serum and catching it is fucking insane, no chance he gets that good with a few months training either, hiw do you make metals wing capable of flight but also able to bend as well? Even comic book materials don't do that shit
@@garyroche7905 no dude shield and wings is actually a really good combo I mean just think you can fly plus throw a vibranium shield at people it’s just like mjolnir but with the mjolnir your 1 hand is equipped I mean soon I guess in the movies falcon will add some more cool gadgets
@@garyroche7905 It’s way better then same using the 2 guns he had in “CA: Winter Soldier”. Also that body shield he made from the wings and the shield was pure perfection.
The attention to detail, Sam struggles more when throwing the shield When cap used to throw it with ease obviously because of the super serum. That's why Sam's throws seem slow and clunky. Falcon needs more build up to his throws cuz he isn't a super soldier
I like that though, it shows he’s actually practicing and training, rather then seeing someone who out the blue was perfect at using the shield, like Walker was.
@@TheDarkGBJ Yeah I know that....my point is Walker was shown using it perfectly with no effort.....Sam on the other hand we actually see him fail at times and struggle and eventually getting it RIGHT. Which in my opinion was better. Rather then just showing someone besides Steve using it perfectly.
@Hazries45 lol idk why sam wouldn’t take it it’s not like he’d get corrupted by it so it would only benefit him. Wing suit , cap shield , and he’s a super soldier 😂
Just being a leader and a captain have powers. Not superpowers, but powers, power of freedom of speech, the power to defend yourself, learning to fight is power, knowledge is power, anything can be power if you believe in it. So in this video, Sam had powers. He had... - the power to fly - a vibraniun shield - Wakanda armor - freedom of speech - having the courage and strength to become the next captain America. - the power to give his own opinion on how the world is these days and how it’s changing, to a higher powerful people
Requirements to be Captain America: -Good hand to hand combat skills -The ability to throw the shield to ricochet off of multiple targets and catch it on return no matter where -Stepping onto the shield so it flips off the ground
I wasn't expecting for him to keep on using the falcon technology when he took up the mantle but honestly it fits him perfectly considering that he's approaching it in a way that's unique to the character
Just realized spidey is kinda like cap (the guy with super strength) with a touch of iron man, while falcon is like ironman (the guy with no suoer strength but can fly) with a touch of cap. The two are parallels of each other
yooo I can't wait to see the developed characters all come together. We got Wanda who found out more about her powers and is now called Scarlett Witch and now we have Sam who became the new Captain America! What next!?!
This is what hard work and heart look like especially when you consider Sam does not have superpowers. AWESOME! I also love how the wings are not just things used for flight but they are acting as an extension of Sam. Sam is a true example of man and machine working as one. Can't wait for more! BTW the suit looks EPIC!
So in any super hero roll after seeing the man person a a hero in this case Steve as captain America there usually is a mind set that this character is the best and no one can live up to them but seeing Sam become captain America felt so right like this was his destiny since that faithful morning when he met Steve. Another thing I noticed is when the doctor was talking to Steve and told him to not be a perfect soldier but a good man because that’s why he chose him so when Steve gave Sam the shield he told him your a good man Sam it’s just the best in my opinion
i’ve seen people say bucky should of gotten the shield from sam, but idk how you can’t think that if you’ve seen the last episode of fatws. sam is the perfect successor
Love Sam as the New Captain America! I hope though he gets some kind of Super Serum because if doesn't then he's going to need a LOT of plot armor if he's going up against Kang and any other super being/metahuman.
Try to imagine if steve has flying suit + mjolnir + shield + super soldier strength it will be OP! But i still like sam to be the captain america too. 😊
Definitely believe thats how Valkyrie actually depicted lorewise. Womans with superstrength, wears armor and shield from Odin's Treasurey, wield Hammer/Sword/Mace, and surely have wings if not riding a winged horse.
Call me shallow, but my favorite thing about Sam as Captain America is just the combination of the shield and the falcon tech. It’s just eye candy to see in action.
I love the wings but god does it seem like so much effort to wear them and the shield, he’s constantly putting them in and out and using both weapons it’s crazy
Wait but this isn't your video. You literally download my video and put another scene there so I don't notice. I've put some sound transitions on this video and I can hear my mistakes in some places. I respect you and love your channel but this isn't alright...
@@Starryeyeddreamer2001 I’m sure after civil war tony would have had thought up some type of counter measures to slow him down or stop him and I’m sure tony would have figured out a way to beat cap or Bucky after fighting with them he knows he can’t beat cap in hand to hand and cap will never give up even when tired Bucky weakness is his arm
He doesn't need the super soldier serum because he has his new tech to replace all the strength he doesn't have, and he never really took it in the comics either.
I always imagine a supervillain absolutely losing his SHIT when he learns Cap can fly now. "He...he can WHAT?" "Fly, sir. He flies, now." "You know what?! I'm DONE!! I'm just DONE!! I'm gonna make shoes!"
I love the fact that after the training scene and on you really feel like Sam earned the shield and the mantle. He’s not just Steve’s replacement he’s is Captain America.
I just really don't understand why everyone hates the idea of Sam Wilson becoming the next Captain America,He's got a lot of Potential and BNW will flesh out his Character.
Bruh I like how nobody talks about how for no apparent reasons he throws the shields out the window and proceeds to jump out said window and fly and catch the shield all In one motion 😭👏👏👏 he did not have to stunt on us like that niqqa really came in throwing the shield and left throwing the shield 😭😭
Why did Marvel change Sam's outfit for Brave New World? It was so comic book accurate! I mean Gal Gadot wore the same Wonder Woman outfit for like four movies
I don't care what haters say, Sam Wilson is a great Captain America. Steve Rogers allowed him the title for a reason, and the fact that people are ready to shout Race-swap or Black-wash, have no right to call themselves fans of Captain America. Doesn't matter who gets it, as long as they do what's right.
Black captain America, people had no big deal. Black spiderman (miles Morales), people had no complaints Black human torch, people be like: Hell naw! mf! This Gen is crazy 🤷♂️
