It's just a cheap Brazilian VW Fox but still I would have blended the colour in on the door. I don't like edge to edge paint jobs, they always come back to bite you in the arse. Can I suggest you show the job once the masking has been removed so as to see how it matches up with the rest of the car.
@@FlorianVandeer1995 You're right the adverts cut off the final seconds of the video but I've looked at it now and the colour is a shade too light so my case for a blend in stands. If that job was done on my car, I wouldn't accept it or sign off on it.
Live your work it would be awesome if you can work on your audio and explanation of it could be more clear because we watch the videos for info and that's key

Один из способов перехода. В готовый лак добавляют на объем 50% растворителя перехода, наносят на распыл лака т.к он жидкий очень он формирует шагрень и распыл получается еще тоньше. Затем наносят чистый растворитель переходов , уже на тонкий распыл, он повторяет и растекается по старой шагрень та что переход практически отсутствует. Остается палернуть. + переход практически не виден, шагрень без обрывом. - для распыла необходимо большой участок матировать , обязательно оставлять шагрень и не оставлять царапины
When I start a job, I always clean my overall first, after the gun. When I blow the car i do around the paint jobs area, everywhere and I always blowing in one destination, otherwise when you blow the dust go to the clean place. I clean the plastic as well, I need if you want a good paint job. Then, I clean with the sticky without air. If I finished the basecoat I repeat again. Half side, full paint job, does not matter I dont have too mutch. Yeah, okey it depents a lot a things...
If you clean it well with sulicon remover after with alcohol you can spray a heavy first coat and you don’t see the “crater” what did you sad. Is my opinion.

This is Standoblue Waterborne. He sprayed Colorblend in the blend area prior to spraying his coat and a half of color. It's basically clear waterborne basecoat. Similar to Standox solvent fade out thinner. the difference is you have to blend into it while its wet. this eliminates dry overspray.
I hate seeing guys clear blend that top sail panel! Prep that 4 minutes worth of work and spend 5 dollars more clear to make a legit job! Also no door color blend? Just butt matching paint? This is almost a good job. Almost.
at 10:53 all he's doing is blowing dust on the paint never do that let it dry on it's own and he did not blend the door not good this guy is in a hurry i dislike this
This was probably a customer pay instead of an insurance job. Customer pay job's are usually given the choice to blend but they would have to pay more so they usually decline with the understanding that there could be a slight variation in color. I'm guessing that's why he didn't blend the door.
If you have to paint 3-4 cars each day, you cant let the paint flash of by itself. Other than that, he blew upwards . Blowing waterborne saves so much time!
