In the end, remember corporate success is no real success, it's just a place where you trade your time and skills for better remuneration, in India, corporate culture is relatively new and so people attach a lot of ego and attachments to corporate titles and so called success, never be in awe of corporate success stories, they are too shallow, try to be a great human being first and hv skills that can be monetized, hv an entrepreneurial mindset even when ur working in corporates, and never lose sleep over corporate awards or titles, they are a trap, be liberated through entrepreneurship or sound long term investments, that's where true happiness lies, remember wealth is about having control over your time, money is time, it's not the other way
You are very special person, what ever you cover the topic of corporate , it comes with exeperience and sadly no one is sharing this, your video is uniqe
I am so glad I came across your channel. I am at the beginning of my career and these tips are hitting at the right place at the right time. Thank you very much !
Great learnings! Thank you for providing us with these tips. One suggestion, Could have shown the flowchart at the end as a summary. Summarization can be helpful for us.
I found this helpful, Thanks for sharing Sir, Please reply to my query - I was promised 1 yr London onsite when I put papers a year back. Now due to politics given 3/5 rating and mentioned, if ur performance is low u need to come back in six months. The person TL in onsite will come here if I have to go there, and he is escalating minute things to Non-technical manager. Please tell me how to overcome this?
This is a common strategy used to retain people for their benefit. Always have in written email for any promises they make. If no benefit or growth, try upskilling and again put paper and move on. Think like they don't deserve good talent like you and simply move on..
hello sir, I have around 10 years of experience, im in lead postion in BPO industry, what skills I should focus on and what courses i can take up skill myself.
Frnds, need your suggestions... I feel like missing out pathway in current trends.. I am a Java developer. 1) Short term basis - pls suggest courses in AI/ML or any other current trends (full time and part time both) for career growth in IT... 2) Long term - Courses/pathway to be immune of Recession and how to have a edge even beyond IT horizons.. bcz I am quite insecure about long term career path..
5 and 6 are very very important. my boss is much junior but it is very important to assimilate and accept lack of experience of my boss and help to make important decisions. This part is very difficult. Many fail in that.
That's a great video. It would have been better if you displayed all the traits visible at last so as to make a note. Currently they are displayed only one at once.
Thnx for the info Anand And to be Frank there is no other skill we can work on whn we r into prjct work ther wil not be that much tym not that much interest...
Sir for growth in corporate there should be jobs and openings in market day by day jobs and openings are getting reduced because of population in India being no 1 , coming days are gonna be worst
Your advice and inputs are very practical and are useful to lot of people who are employees. There are lot of other videos who share on how to become entrepreneur, and other big goals but that is not practical for everyone in reality.
This is the reason I am proposing below. 1) Establish first, second and third level of connections based on your frequency and visibility of your daily work to others. This should be done by the company for every single employee. 2) a new performance review by your team across above connections instead of one manager. They need to view for your Target roles and promotions etc. The above is not as save as your so called useless name sake 360 degree review exists in only books. 3) Companies need to establish roles vs natural strengths mapping and give priority to those while hiring. This solves many issues in corporate office Please revert.
What is the reason why people who do all the things like personal branding ,proper comms with management, good things at work still dont get highlighted and lag behind during appraisal, promotion . What extra to do to stay ahead of the curve
Thanks a lot it was very informative. Can I get your contact details I want some advice on the experience I am going through in the workplace right now.
Sir , requesting you to share your insight on what to do when a company is good but manager is not supportive or doesn't want you to grow . What to do when manager is prioritizing other person over you .
@introvertexplorer1654 It's simple. Please do the below. 1) First talk to your manager with an open heart means you need to forget you and discuss as a third person like a judge. Listen his views and accept anything honestly if required 2) Please discuss with any other team member only if you feel worthwhile otherwise it's will back fire. I am not panic you just alerting 3) Finally please discuss with skip level manager or even further. Yes once you reach this stage, please be prepared for any consequences 4) Please be spiritual means whatever is going to happen will happen and vice versa. You will be always blessed and taken care of so far. Please develop an attitude of going with the flow. Hope this helps 🙂🙂🙂 Cheers Sowmi
Sir, your last point of view is fabulous. That every action of our creates a brand value of us in the world around. While people do stuffs or things unconsciously. But, in the corporate world, being conscious of our actions builds our brand accordingly. Thank you sir for your wise advices.
You should do everything other than work. I am sure this person never worked ut spent all the time looking at others. He will write 1 little line of code and say hiw hard he has been working and how it improved company profit. In fact he is the person that company survives will be the attitude. Everybody else is so stupid
Mr. Career Talk have you worked for MNCs in Revenue Generating Leadership Roles.. .there are a million ways to show you good and a trillion ways to show you bad
Every thing mentioned here is very sensible, but one should report to a sensible, competent manager..if there are insecured bosses..nothing could be done..we dont see this side at all..HRs to next cmpany will say we are not supposed to bad mouth .ok but should we not say the truth?..God knws if thats a strategy to bring in stress and sell tablets to us..😃
Thanks alot for the "T" shaped skillset logic. I am at the juncture where I am a business continuity professional who also manages insurance. Insurance is big for our company and I am the only SME in the company. I have a background in insurance. I know the importance of T shape just never knew what its called.
Serious suggestion: please start a consultant business where you will give advice paid maybe like doctors.. Nowadays ppl need advisors like u more than doctor🤣
Good morning sir! Will ai ,chatgpt will replace software developer jobs..There will be no software development related jobs in future?what's your opinion?
