It probably took time to adjust, but home can b anywhere. It seems the stress disappears in this kinda life. Delilia hears ya'll talking about her her ears lifted. 😊
As an Army vet, I lived in some very austere environments along the way as have many of your followers. The term creature comforts is all relative. I could not live in my teardrop full time but even it is like the Taj Mahal comparable to conditions I’ve lived in. Not sure that I’ll ever go full time but maybe half-time. Love your setup. Thanks for sharing your experience and thoughts.
Your setup is efficient and less of daily chores than mowing the lawn and other home maintenance…and paying property taxes and utilities and HOA fees…so much more conducive to LIVING and not existing in a house. Your genius power system…water system makes your home on wheels self sustaining freedom.
Hey Bill & Deb, Enjoyed this discussion of conversion living vs house living. I don't know if it's possible since moving is likely a very busy time but sometime we're wondering if you might do a video on packing up and the prep to move. We could probably learn something from your wealth of experience. Thanks, Russ & Ellen
Hey Bill I have a off topic question for you. How did you attach your Galanz Fridge to the wall? I'm looking to get a NEO trailer this Fall and as I go back and scan your videos, I can't find how you did it. Mark
So you pay an average of 13 bucks a day in the corps of engineer's camp suites?? Where are you getting such cheap campsites with full hook ups?? In December I took out to live in my cargo conversion RV and it was minimum of $20/ night. ❤❤❤
We have the America The Beautiful Senior Pass. It gets us a 50% discount. A $24 a night site becomes $12. Anyone 62 years old and older qualify for the Pass. A lifetime Pass is a one time fee of $80. The highest price we've ever encountered at a COE campground is $30, making our cost $15. Most have power and water at the site, with a dump station nearby. We've also stayed at some COE parks with power, water and sewer at the site.
dumb question. Have you thought about swapping the van for a used box van to tow ? Use the box as a real garage I know you can get some used ones and you wont be putting commercial miles on it.
@@billanddeb I always see them pop up when ever California updates laws requiring something extra for cargo trucks. as bad as this sounds check the online marketplaces using yuma as the centeral point and set miles away to 300 and you will cover most of southern ca and az, most things out this way are rust free. which is just riding the I-10 for a couple of days, plenty of boondocking if you know where to look.
