100+ days into a carnivore diet and I've learned quite a bit. From cheat meals to back pain to sleep, there are some crazy effects-all for the better mostly-on this carnivore diet plan.
Since I'm trying to lean up more to get down to the leanest I can, I need to tweak my routine and eliminate some foods. This video explains my strategy to get to the next level of fat loss results.

Hey, my fast-talking-bruthuh-from-anuthuh-muthuh!! Another great video! LOVED seeing cut in edits with you doing something other than sitting at desk. Love that. NOTES: When I want to burn more fat, here are 4 things I do that you didn't mention: 1) Get REAL with what you're putting in your mouth! It's the "uncounted" bites that can add up: the stuff in your coffee, a bite of your kid's lunch, those nibbles when putting away food at night... guaranteed that denial is working its way into your food consumption if the fat is not getting metabolized! 2) Increase your IF window. Move from an 18:6 maybe to a 20:4 or a 23:1 (OMAD) for a week or so and let your body settle a bit and heal itself of its inflammation, which may be the cause of holding on to some weight. 3) Get better, more restful sleep. Take a look at your sleep habits: are you getting less hours of restful slumber? Are you wakeful at night? Do you wake up exhausted in the morning? Getting right with your sleep can really help you to shed those extra fat cells, as that happens most at night while we sleep. And finally, 4) Reduce your stress levels! Cortisol's a b**ch when it comes to shedding fat. Makes your body hold on to MORE because it senses danger and is going to override all your efforts to lose that fat and store it instead.

This is why i like to eat only during meal times. Snacking is the worst. I also like OMAD. Im going to try to move myself to that more often. Thanks for the comment and feedback!

Having all my calories in a time-restricted window works for me. I am obese, and I am a food addict, so doing this IS very hard for me - but when I do it, it works for me.

Collin , you look great buddy. I get a large percentage of my protein from chia seeds. Plus I do OMAD. Every thing you said is spot on. Collin , at one time I weighed 250 lbs , now I am at a comfortable 155. I think the most important thing people need to focus on is being patient, don't expect immediate results. It took me a few years to lose that hundred pounds. there's an author out there named paavo airola , on fasting. GREAT how to. I'm still hoping to see a tour of your farm, I hope all is well with you and your family , God bless you and yours

Dude, its about being patience so I'm glad you brought that fact up. Figuring out the exact formula on a Carnivore diet (or any eating style really) is super difficult. Don't take a day by day strategy.. Even a Week by week can make most of us fall off the health train.. One has to experiment and be willing to put the work in.. I like that you are implementing more walking. With that said up the intensity. Maybe a weight vest or ankle weights also throw some push ups and sit ups in.. Remember that muscle is hungry and so having it means your metabolism will be stimulated and have to work harder to support it.. Your eating all that protein may as well try to put it to work right?!

I totally agree on the patience part. I think people think the human body can change faster than it can. Most people do not gain and lose weight easily.. some can, sure, but they are the exception.

Love your videos man, I just started the carnivore diet and I am eating twice a day...1 lb of grassfed grassfinished 93/7 lean to fat ground beef and a fried egg (fried with the fat from cooking the ground beef) per meal so a total of 2lbs of ground beef and 2 eggs a day it's around 1800 calories I will use 93/7 and 85/15 ground beef usually one each oer day...I'm gonna try this out for a while and see how it works out for me!

I have been strict carnivore for 2 years. Last 5 months i have been in a weightstall. Now i even gained some weight. I dont eat dairy but i think ill try to cut down on fat. I dont do any excersize either so ill try to atleast do some walking.

Fat doesn't make you fat its carbs and having your insulin spiked all day. Just do omad with very low carbs like 20g or less. Combined with excersise it should come off.

Protein spikes insulin as well. For hours and hours, the fattier the longer, the longer.Its about frequency, calories second, makros third. Cole Robinson knew it all along :-)

@@Breaking_Hollywood I agree that protein spikes insulin, but I disagree about your statement that fat spikes it longer and longer. Fat has the least amount of impact on insulin levels. Many carnivores advise not to track macros, but I think that is a huge mistake. If you don't know what you are putting into your body then how can you expect the results that you want to achieve? Many beginners fall into the trap of eating too much protein in one meal. The human body simply cannot use that much protein in one meal, so guess where the excess goes? It gets stored as body fat.

I have a big breakfast at 6 am and I never know if I am going to be hunger later on so great idea with having ground beef cooked and ready. You need to get a dog! Every day I am out for at least a 5k walk with mine. I am getting pretty strict too, 15 pounds to go.

Hey Colin I love your channel. I would also recommend start doing Calisthenics- and get GOOD at it. When you begin to master your body weight, aligned with Carnivore, aligned with Fasting, you will lose fat like a M*****F*****. Walking (Low Intensity training) to use some excess fat stores for energy. Fasting to boost GH. Building muscles with Calisthenics (Muscle ups, L sits, hanging planks) You get real cut

Get a weighted vest that holds at least 40lbs and walk at 3 to 3.5 speed at a 5 out of 10 incline for 30-45 min...your welcome. Tell shredville I said hello.

At the risk of sounding impolite, I think you are at a point where it is time to put on muscle. You are lean enough for any gains to show and look great. I agree with your objectives and goals but you make no mention of resistance training. This coming from an outsider looking in. First video of yours I have seen.

Mike, I'm not at lean as I can get. Still cutting out some of the belly fat leftover from eating too many carbs/sugar. I've put on muscle as of late and am strength training consistently. I'm much more interest in first getting down to a lowest baseline then seeing how lean in the midsection I can get. then whether or not I want to eat more or not is still uncertain. There is longevity and health benefit to caloric restriction, so it will depend on what I want to do next. Ty for your comment

Can anyone help me? After getting over the fatigue phase. I feel better. Getting only 5-6 hours of sleep a day. But once a week i find myself sleeping like 9-10 hours

Leptin is a hormone released from fat cells in adipose tissue. leptin signals to the brain, in particular to an area called the hypothalamus. Leptin does not affect food intake from meal to meal but, instead, acts to alter food intake and control energy expenditure over the long term. The golden question is, if you remove dietary fat from carnivore, what will happen to leptin, does it get affected at all? Because we have finite willpower, and the body can fight us. You can do bicycle for hours. Go to the mountains, to nature and relax. It won't affect knees or cause injuries (maybe minimal for some). Works for me.

If something affects you longterm how does it not short term? Leptin resistance is a real problem for people. Also, humans need to eat fat. If you eat straight protein, you will experience rabbit starvation and die.

Leptin wont help you very much when you'r leptin resistant. its combined with insulin resistance somehow but no one really knows how it works. it worked for me when i was on 3-5 day fasts but now, on carnivore, im hungry as f despite eating 3k kals a day (overeating) of meat, fish and eggs

My son is 16 years old.. He's always been a tremendous athletic specimen. Since going strictly carnivore his weight has stayed stable but his strength, speed and stamina have gone through the roof! It's been absolutely astonishing to watch!

It'll be the best thing you do: by not eating the junk it'll add years to your life and you won't get joint pain that comes from aging. Trust me, I remember being a teen and bulletproof. I coudl do anything pain-free. Not the case anymore,, so keep age it at bay as long as you can

Avoid the Standard American Diet (SAD) at all costs! Carnivore and keto have worked for me. Stick with natural, whole foods. Avoid all sugar, gluten, starchy vegetables, and processed foods. Meat, fish, poultry, eggs are all safe and yummy!

Building muscle naturally takes a long time and lots of consistency and dedication. Don't try to cheat your way there with fad diets and unique approaches. If you do you will look skinny-fat forever.

You lost me at 3:36 where you said the goal is not to eat fat. It's carnivore. You want the fat. Fat doesn't make you fat. Fat is a fuel. You have to be fat adapted. The only way to do that is to burn fat. Proteins either get turned into glucose or fat. So, if you go heavy protein you will be making more FAT. You're lost bro.
