In this extended, respectful discussion, Dr Paul Saladino & Dr Ken Berry discuss the Carnivore Diet and whether fruit & honey fit into a carnivore diet. Dr Saladino & I agree that meat/eggs should make up the majority of a Proper Human Diet, but we disagree on a few of the details...

I just went to the ER for an infection. They did blood work on me. I am a still little heavy still so the doctor was shocked at how good my blood work and blood pressure was. I told her I eat 10 grams of carbs a day and all of those from live fermented veg, and all other calories from meat and mostly fat. The look on her face was priceless.

Western doctors are so clueless on nutrition it's scary. They are only trained to prescribe drugs. When I went to a doctor for psoriasis years ago the "specialist" had no idea that too much sugar in your diet causes inflammation. She was quick to prescribe a cream though.

@@forrestbirnbaum434 I know for sure he is ghosting Bart at least because Bart has invited a debate publicly many times in his critique videos on Saladino and they used to talk, at least one show together when Paul was carnivore. So I speculate he might be ghosting others. Bart is unique in that he is a professor and has studied physiology for 25+ years hes done a lot of science, written stuff for textbook that med students would use and thought physiology to med students. Ken Berry reached out to Bart to ask him to look into the science to see if a1b test are actually sensitive to fructose as Saladino claims (they have low sensitivity it turns out) because Berry doesn't have the training to understand scientific papers. Bart mentioned this in his critique video on Saladino called "Paul Saladino Makes A FOOL of Himself !!!". However much i like Berry I think Saladino saw him as low hanging fruit you could say. He is strategic. Just look at his affiliation with liver King and then pretending to be shocked when its revealed he's taking steroids and then ditching him behind. It's about the bag.

7 years carnivore, and the very first thing I cut out was the fruit, and immediately I started to feel better. Sugar was next and then veg. At each stage I felt better. I just did it slowly and methodically until the only thing I was left eating was meat and fat. At the start I had 20 ailments, some very debilitating. 3 were lifelong progressive according to the specialist at the hospital. All of them are now resolved and my blood pressure is optimal, and I am on zero meds at the age of 65. I accidentally became carnivore and am in the best health of my life. Im a 60 year old nurse, I work 4-10 hour workday. I started this carnivore journey almost a week ago. I have noticed a loss of cravings, I can walk past breads, donuts, cookies brownies and not want it and that is a big change for me. I have a weightloss of 3.5 lbs, not hungry like I use to be. I don't have GERD in the morning and don't need a Pepcid anymore. Bowel movements are every other day instead of daily and not as much. No more uncomfortable bloated feeling in abdomen. I hope i can maintain it. I think it is good for me. One thing is good for me is I love animal fat. I always felt guilty loving the beef fat on a steak.

This is new for me. My inflamation multiplied horribly. My body began to swell, and my legs became almost dead weights. This occured when I went back to limited carbohydrates for 6 mths. I am broken. Don't do as I did. It is much harder this time to deal with my metabolic syndrome and severe insulin resistance, to the point of weight loss. I committed to carnivore for the first time. Yes. This discussion shouldn’t be about food, it should actually be about adopting an “ancestral lifestyle”. We aren’t just adapted for certain foods, we are adapted for a particular set of life ways. Things like outdoors, barefoot, 12,000-16,000 steps per day, and surrounded by a community that functions like a “tribe”. The closer we can get to that the healthier we will be. Just had a thought occur to me. When I was a kid, our neighbors had a horse that they were discussing. They said it had "foundered". Meaning that it just kept eating, past the point of being physically full. Intestines were blocked and they eventually had to put the animal down. This animal was fed oats, and corn based feed. It was probably never "satisfied" because horses are meant to graze on grasses for the most part. They normally do not eat the high carb, sugar laced diet that they are fed in captivity. When I was a carb addict, I sometimes would eat until I could not hold anymore, but was always unsatisfied. Since going "Ketovore", I am rarely hungry. I also don't stress eat anymore, because I am rarely depressed and full of anxiety, even in anxiety prone situations.

@@GovernmentFear His health issues consisted basically of some patches of eczema. I'm sorry but that is not really that big a deal. I'm all for living as ancestrally as possible. Large quantities of fruit and honey every single day is not ancestral. During our evolution fruit would have been found occasionally seasonally and according to location. Most of human evolution took place during ice ages when we wouldn't have even seen any plants for lifetimes at a stretch. When a tribe was lucky enough to find a ripe berry bush, the whole tribe would stuff their faces for a few days until all the berries were gone and that would be it for the whole year. They would all put on a couple of pounds which would help them survive the coming winter. We eat like it is late August and there is a plant free hard winter approaching 365 days a year now. Whole Foods flies the berries in from South America in the wintertime. Not very ancestral. Not to mention the carbon footprint involved.

It's possible that your body was dumping Oxalates. The body will dump Oxalates when going carnivore, since there is an absence of Oxalate being consumed. This may also explain the dehydration, do you recollect peeing more frequently? Adding fruit will essentially reintroduce some dietary Oxalates and slow down Oxalate dumping and its awful symptoms, however Oxalates are not good and should be avoided as much as possible. Glad fruit worked for you, good luck with your health journey. 😊

I think this discussion is perfect. I think they are both trying to be a part of the solution of figuring out what is truly healthy or not. I think Dr. Berry is right when he says meat is the answer. I think that Saladino is right when he says that natural and proper carbs aren't inherently evil. I think our problem, in the US, is processed foods, too much added sugars, too much cheap seed oils, and too much fake stuff in our food. All that on top of the fact we've become SO SEDENTARY. Working for your food and livelihood and survival is one hell of a workout. This conversation is making me think a little differently about my carnivore diet in a wholesome way. Carbs are fine but you have to know yourself. Make adjustments accordingly. Can't handle them at all? Then don't eat them. Do you feel ok and are all vitals and bloodwork looking ok? Then you can have some natural carbs. The food pyramid is trash regardless. I think a largely meat and fat based diet, with occasional fruit or berries is probably fine.

Confused. If my blood sugar is 2 or 3, I'd be dead. I start getting symptoms when my sugar is 70, and the lower it falls, the worse I get. My Mother was the same way. Also, I think the main reason our food now makes us sick, is because man has contaminated it with plastics, chemicals, genetic modification, hormone alterations, fattening up animals by giving them things that are not a part of their diet. I think the human genetic makeup plays a role in what diet is appropriate for them. People that live near the water will naturally eat more seafood, and people that are landlocked will naturally eat more plants and turf based sources. Also youth and activity plays a big role. When I was a kid, I could eat as much as I wanted, as often as I wanted, and whatever I wanted and I would not gain weight. I wasn't very active as a kid. I didn't have weight problems until the mid 1990's when everything started becoming genetically modified. So I got active, joined a gymnasium, and was able to control my weight that way. As time goes by, aging, and health catching up with me, I slowed down, became sick, physically disabled, unable to exercise, and hate just about every kind of food except for pizza, pasta, breads, rice, and I LOVED steel cut oatmeal that you had to cook for a year, and I loved cream of wheat, with sugar, cinnamon, butter (I always did use REAL butter and whole cream. On occasion, churn my own butter) that was all good, but I am also sick all the time, the weight is more than it has ever been in all my life, and I am miserable. And despite all this misery and these allergies, going into a big upheaval after eating, I still continue the same diet. Mostly because of money, and because habits are hard to break, and being disabled and unable to do things we look for quick and easy, something that can be boiled or microwaved, because we just do not feel like, nor can tolerate standing in a kitchen, sanitizing everything, getting the sink full of dishes, then cleaning everything up again, only to do it all again in six or seven hours, and the next day. Life is more complicated than it needs to be and for those of us that are sick, because we have been poisoned by the food industry and LIED to by The American Heart Association about oatmeal, cream of wheat, and Cheerios, life becomes impossible. Literally sick and tired to the point of exhaustion. Too tired and sick to even go to the gymnasium, despite our New Year Resolutions that are out the window by February.

The book "The Big Fat Surprise" literally is about how all those studies were muddied. Just finished Paul's book "carnivore code" and found it to be a great starting point. Eliminate everything first, give body time to heal/adjust then add back what fits your body. I am currently in my 3rd week of 100% carnivore and waiting on the book "lies my dr. Told me." I am feeling absolutely fabulous. My workouts and energy have exploded. The scale is slowly moving in the right direction. Sadly i didn't get numbers on fasting insulin and c-peptide but numbers i do have clearly show metabolic syndrome. I eat nothing but beef, butter, tallow and water. I've got blood work coming in 5 months and I intend on being armed with information to get my dr. Out from under his rock. Love watching both your channels. ✌ ☮

I like your taste in books. Another one I would thoroughly recommend is Eat Rich, Live Long, by Ivor Cummins. As well as meal plans and recipes, the 3rd part of the book is a very deep dive into the science of how our bodies work and why seed oils, sugar and refined grains are so bad for us. Sounds like it would be something you would be interested in. I read Lies My Doctor Told Me a few years a ago, and at the time I had no idea Ken Berry was the author. Also, just in case you haven't come across it, there is a brilliant RU-vid channel called Low Carb Down Under, which has a lot of presentations around health and diet. Best of luck (or should that be skill?) with your bloodwork.

@@PrinzessKennY I haven't been doing carnivore for long but when I tried to get straight into it a few years back, I was the exact same. I've had a serious carb addiction for so long and it was almost impossible for me to go through that withdrawal. What I've done differently this time which has definitely helped is cut right back on the carbs for a bit first so that I'm not going from eating loads to none at all and it hasn't been nearly as much of a shock to the system. Then when I've gone carnivore I started by still having like a small portion of green veg each day, cooked in animal fat of course, and having milk and cheese which still provides you with some sugar. I hope to cut out the milk and cheese at some point too but I'm not ready yet lol Hopefully that will help :)

I am 53 years old and have a lung disease called aveolar hemorrhaging, and possibly bronchitis obliterans organized pneumonia which was diagnosed 5 or 6 years ago. The steroids they had me on had such major side effects that I felt like I was just waiting to die. One ER dr told me I was going to die the next time I got pneumonia. I could barely get out of bed, and I had to go on disability after working as a registered pharmacist for 20 years........Then I woke up.........I went off the meds (against my dr's advice) and went on a STRICT carnivore diet and actually used Dr Berry's electrolyte drink they recommended to prevent the "keto flu", and I also joined a couple of beef groups to keep me updated on any new information coming up regarding eating a carnivore diet. I even kept a diary for the first six months to follow my progress. Well, my dr went from telling me "I was crazy to eat like this", to a year later, telling me to just continue with whatever I was doing. I am off my lung meds, off my oxygen, and am still here and now even work 20 hours a week at a gas station by my house. I won't do pharmacy because I have some TBI from low oxygen (it would be in the low 60's when I was in the ICU), and I won't put any patient at risk because I know my memory is not good at all anymore and I would be nervous I would make a mistake. Carnivore SAVED my life!!! I had gained 120 pounds in one year from the 240mg's of prednisone they had me taking daily. I was also diagnosed with type 2 doabetes and was actually even insulin dependent for a couple of years. The steroids also caused EXTREME anxiety, EXTREME depression , and EXTREME insomnia. I have two or three years that are just a blur because of the steroids and low oxygen, and even though I knew a lot of these symptoms were caused by the meditation my lung specialist had me on, ut qas a horrible existence for me. It hurt to lay down, and it hurt to get up. I spent a lot of time crying and also found out that when you suddenly get sick, you learn who your real friends and family are. I lost most of my weight I gained (70 pounds) just by going off the prednisone, and I lost the last 50 pounds in four months when I switched to carnivore, eating as much and as often as I wanted to. I eat until I am full, and usually I am only hungry once a day. Once a month I also fast for 48 hours to get my body in "autophagy" mode. I am back to my normal weight that I was at when I first hot sick, I am off insulin, and my last two A1C's were in the normal range. I tell everyone about carnivore because the benefits for me have been AMAZING!!! And it is funny that I work at a gas station because the only thing I can eat at the store is our hard boiled eggs. I rarely sweat at all anymore, and most issues I am dealing with now are actually just side effects still from the EXTREMLY high dose of prednisone. I have bone issues now and the prednisone ruined my eyesight too. I went from perfect eyesight to needing 4.50 reading glasses. (I am actually supposed to wear bifocals, but after tripping and falling, I just went back to the reading glasses.) Sorry I am rambling, but if my daughter wouldn't have talked me into trying this diet, I know I would have already passed away. I don't even tell most people I was diagnosed as "terminal", I fired my pulmonologist, I quit seeing any specialists for my lungs and I just stick with my primary dr who now is supportive of the way I eat. I went from being in the hospital at least monthly, to not being in the hospital for my lungs for at least a year now. I am not completely healthy now, but COMPARED to how I was on all of those medications before, I am so much better and I am so grateful that I am able to work my 20 hours a week now. I appreciate feeling good, because I know what it is like to feel horrible all of the time. The only medication I HAVE to take now is warfarin 10mg (a blood thinner) because the alveolar hemorrhaging has led to nine pulmonary embolisms and I only mention this because I HAVE NOT had one more since I went carnivore.............I follow Dr Berry, Jordan Peterson and his daughter, and I listen to lots of talks regarding carniore. I have considered writing a book about carnivore saving my life, but I am concerned my memory issues may interfere with my efforts. Though, now that I think about it, my kids (two are grown), they would probably help. And also, I did that diary on my change in diet, so I guess I already have started. Lol!!! I have learned soooooo many AMAZING things about carnivore, and am amazed how many people this has helped. We need to get the word out about carnivore!!! Thank you both for doing this RU-vid video!!! I went to college and pharmacy school for a total of seven years (graduated in 1995), and am very disappointed we were just taught the "pyramid diet", and that was it. (Now I think that is sad.) Great video!!! NOTE: my first day eating carnivore was August 20th, 2020. (Oh, and Dr Berry's "keto flu" drink worked perfectly for me.)

For memory: excercize, get yourself n-acetyl cystiene (you wouldn't be able to get agathisflavone so take n-acetyl cystiene instead), a lotta vitamin A, vitamin K2 MK7 (or MK4), vitamin D3, do wim hof's breathing technique, perform mentally demanding tasks for a few hours every day, and sleep well. They will help not only with oxidative stress, but also promote neurogenesis and neuronal maturation. Kids and adolescents have great cardiac health and it helps with brain development (along with activities that are cognitively demanding and therefore help neural differentiation, maturation and consolidation, like being social). Since attention, memory, processing speed, reasoning and abstraction are always present in literally everything we do, their circuitry also get strengthened as well, but only if we use them enough, as dictated by our given limits of intelligence. Erythropoietin is induced by hypoxia when doing intense cardio and the breathing technique, and you need both for brain development. For neuroprotection, against oxidative stress and glutamatergic toxicity, luckily, both also work. Now if it weren't for blood thinners I would have also recommended omega 3 fatty acids (2000-3000 milligrams a day of dha) but I would say you really shouldn't, just out of precaution. You should look it up and make sure. If you did however see it safe to take omega 3, don't worry about its oxidation. Turns out it still has the same benefits even if it's rancid, plus you're already treating it through excercize, etc. Oh and take your B vitamins and minerals because those are also absolutely necessary for brain health (there are specific forms that are bioavailable that you should take instead of the cheap useless ones which I'll be happy to list one by one if you're interested). Some research: -Beyond the Hippocampus and the SVZ: Adult Neurogenesis Throughout the Brain. -Retinoic acid signaling and neuronal differentiation. -Generation of a defined and uniform population of CNS progenitors and neurons from mouse embryonic stem cells. -Retinoic acid restores adult hippocampal neurogenesis and reverses spatial memory deficit in vitamin A deprived rats. -Induction of striatal neurogenesis and generation of region-specific functional mature neurons after ischemia by growth factors. -Agathisflavone, a flavonoid derived from Poincianella pyramidalis (Tul.), enhances neuronal population and protects against glutamate excitotoxicity. -PKN1 promotes synapse maturation by inhibiting mGluR-dependent silencing through neuronal glutamate transporter activation. -Progressive maturation of silent synapses governs the duration of a critical period. -Silent synapses generate sparse and orthogonal action potential firing in adult-born hippocampal granule cells. -Early Actions of Neurotransmitters During Cortex Development and Maturation of Reprogrammed Neurons. Brain plasticity is still possible well into adulthood, and critical periods of socialization remain open even if stimulus is lacking during its typical onset (a bit controversial). Don't get discouraged. Good luck!

I appreciate both physicians speaking about this. ❤❤❤ 30 years ago I was 30 and started a high-protein diet and basically fixed my metabolism, and took my body pain away. I was super lean and I loved it. I’ve had chronic body pain, all over my body for 31 years. Of course I’m now 60 years old, and for a myriad of variables, my body pain is a lot worse. Most of it may be stress, environmental exposure , etc.. I’m going to add to my medical chart that I’m allergic to wheat and sugar. 😮. When I eat these, my skin burns the next day and my peripheral nerves hurt the next day.😢 Someone that can surf for 2 to 3 hours a day has a lifestyle conducive to massive quantities of exercise, according to typical American culture. Most of us cannot dedicate that much time to exercise each day. Household exercise, although helps range of motion and does burn some calories, I’m not able to get stronger unless I go to a gym where I’m doing water weights or weight lifting. Dr. Barry is correct each human being is unique and one must dial in what variables work for them the best. 🙏🏾💗⭐️

The problem with honey is that it's the most counterfeit food in the market. None of the jars you see in the supermarket are the real deal. You either harvest your own honey or your neighbor/relative harvest their honey. We consume way too much fruit that is not native to our country like tropical fruits which are loaded with sugar. The other problem we have in the US is we live a very sedentary life we drive everywhere and hardly walk.

I have worked so hard this past year to bring my blood sugar down and improve my metabolic health that I would not want to spoil my progress by consuming carbs, even honey/fruit, which are supposedly 'natural'. I went off the carnivore diet a couple of times for birthdays and the like and boy, did I pay for it. My GERD came back with a vengeance as well as my arthritic pain and stiffness. What has really helped as well has been upping my good fats such as butter, tallow and bacon grease. Thanks for the conversation, guys.

Yeah absolutely true. It's better to consume more animal fat than adding carbs. Carnivore is a keto diet. Low carb( if not zero ) moderate protéines and high fat. And have a very good hydration with electrolytes. No need to take more carbs. For me I feel much better and sleep better by eating more fat and a bit less protein and near zero carb. At least 3L of liquid with a equilibrate amount of sodium, magnesium and potassium. That's it 🙂👍

I don't know why this discussion has to focus on 100 grams So many other low carb nutritionists suggest trying a GARNISH sized serving a couple times week, not Saladino's sized servings- whole mangoes and papayas every day. Don't be afraid of 12 raspberries as a side with your beef liver once a week. and a teaspoon of honey in your dandelion tea on a special occasion. Also, star fruit is okay for keto- once a month, if you can find it. The dose makes the poison.

I have actually done that experiment. Just a few things changed after adding around 100g carbs in the form of fruit, dairy and honey. Both tests performed early in the morning fasted (12h). Before experiment (carnivore consisting of pork, chicken and predominantly ruminant meat and organs, and eggs): Fasting BG mg/dL = 85 TG mg/dL = 133 HDL mg/dL = 104 LDL mg/dL = 371 AST U/L = 30 ALT U/L = 24 After experiment (adding around 100g carbs in the form of fruit, dairy and honey): Fasting BG mg/dL = 91 TG mg/dL = 113 HDL mg/dL = 97 LDL mg/dL = 152 (this was the main change) AST U/L = 27 ALT U/L = 20 The rest was more or less the same. Fasting insulin 3.6, glucagon around 170, HbA1c 5.2... Just sharing as an interesting observation that, in my case (probably lean mass hyper-responder) adding carbs shifted my LDL tremendously. Who knows what is better. I only know that I do not feel much different, except that my taste for sweets gets way down when I add carbs daily. For instance, if I eat 0 carbs, I can eat 2-3 full spoons of honey in a row until I get satisfied. If I eat 100g carbs daily, half a spoon is already a little bit too much for my tongue. The point here is that nobody knows what you need to eat. But your body knows, unless your body composition is not athletic (at least to a minimum) and your food is not real, because then even your body doesn't know, and you are screwed, and that's when you go to Dr. Berry or Dr. Saladino.

I have no cravings, losing weight, no more aches and pains, sleep like a baby, and I'm 64 and overweight, tho it's coming off. I have noticed when I've had honey, I start to have a bit of craving for sugar. It doesn't take much for me. I love so many things about this ancestral way of eating including figuring out how to design our own way of eating that works best for us. There are important perimeters, but we can play with this and can see if/how our goals are being affected. Thanks to both of these docs and to the most High! 🙏

YES Dr Ken!!!! I fatten easily. I am a 57 year old woman. Menopause and an endomorph and have metabolic syndrome there is no way I could eat all that fruit and honey everyday. Unfortunately!!! I really wish I could. My body just wants more of it and the more I eat that then spirals into me eating sweeter carbs or breads etc. So Dr Ken you are my doctor for sure on this! ❤ And Dr Paul doesn’t realise just how high intensity 2-3 hours of surfing 🏄‍♀️ is a day. Dr Paul needs to accept that his diet is right for his body and cannot recommend it to the broader modern human being! This is where the issue is for how I see his theory. I also would say cortisol increases insulin too so if there is an insulin spike with cortisol and I eat fruit that just feeds the insulin more. So we fumble in the dark because of various complexities 🙏🤝❤️ I do love Dr Paul Saladino’s passion and no doubt has done tonnes of research too. However, the research he does supports what works for him in my humble opinion. Thanks again doctors 🥰🙌🙏 Dr Paul I live in Victoria Australia! Close to Antartica lol 😆 so we cannot base the tropical theory here 😅

Not for lack of salt because I can put down salt like the best of them.. I had leg cramps, heart palpitations and constipation while strictly carnivore, not to mention that stinky keto breath that was killing everyone around me. NO, thank you.. My body was telling me it should not be like this.. Enter fruit, goat keifer and honey and FINALLY leg cramps, heart palpitations, constipation and stinky breath completely gone. Still maintaining satiety for hours and hours after my meals. Two meals a day. Kept my weight just where I need it.. I'm always calm and sleep like a newborn baby. Dr Berry, you're so kind and congenial. I've noticed this before and often. I enjoyed this video when it first aired with Dr Saladino. BTW, most people cannot surf everyday for 3 hours nor hang out at the equator. Too many carbs seem to make you want more carbs. Grain is especially horrible. I'm so appreciative you two did this discussion. My electrolyte imbalance was mostly cured within two weeks of carnivore and completely cured within a month. About two years in, I started your recommended daily minerals. I'm still dealing with BP but am getting there, 3 yrs carnivore come Jan '23. I have to eat more like you, Dr Berry, or I experience symptoms. I didn't do this for weight but do notice immediate symptoms of gas and weight if I have too many carbs. Love you guys!

Yep. I think Saladino's diet may work for someone super active like him. It may also work for some pro athletes or high school or college students who play competitive sports or are very active. For those of us who sit most of the day, maybe hit the gym a couple of times a week and just try to walk a little....all that fruit isn't a good idea. Plus fruit just triggers me. I like it, but it never satisfies my sweet tooth...it takes unhealthy desserts (including too much of the keto kind) to do that.

John the Baptist lived on Locust and Wild Honey.... that sounds like honey is a natural partner for the carnivore diet. :-) The honey has not hindered any of the fantastic things I have been experiencing since I started this diet. Including a slow and steady weight loss, joint pain gone, brain and body feeling great, and the bloated, uncomfortable feelings gone. I think further down the road I will try some fruit. I will probably go very slowly and try to allow at least 3-5 hours before having my meat. I like the possibilities of this diet but I need to do the carnivore part first. You can get 100% healthy on a very high fat carnivore diet You may tolerate fruits and honey - that doesn't mean it's healthy Honey contains some beneficial compounds but so does rat shit Remember ppl fall off carnivore when they don't take enough fat. When you start out on carnivore, you have enough fat for your body to burn thro. When your body has burned thro this fat, you must take in enough fat otherwise you fall off. You're replacing carbs with fat, not protein - that's the idea. If you eat 8 eggs fried in an excessive amount of tallow everyday, and dousing your meats in excessive amounts of butter; if you're eating butter, drinking ghee everyday; you'll do well on carnivore. It's a fat diet, not a meat diet

Really interesting and informative conversation. You guys are super respectful of one another. Ken leans into open mindedness and we all learn from it. Unfortunately, honey and fruit heavy diets are not real world for everyone but no one diet is a fit for all, period. I do think location and culture is very important when considering one’s optimal diet. Time, genetics, and financial means play a part as well throughout our lives. Whether you reside close to the equator, a farmer’s market, or run of the mill grocery store, we all need to examine our own bodies and consider many factors when landing the right diet/lifestyle to live the best life possible. I am 51, have lived with Crohns Disease and Ulcerative Colitis since I was 25. I stopped drinking at 47 and when I turned 50, I started a clean Keto diet. It changed my life in amazing ways. I am now venturing into a more Ketovore diet as the fiber I was consuming in some veggies was causing some bloating. So far, it’s been a change for the better. I wish that my doctors and dietitians had given me the right information 25 years ago. Our country is and has been drowning in a sea of bad information and what I would call medical malpractice for far too long. Amen to people like these ballsy doctors for speaking out and challenging big food, big pharma, and willfully ignorant doctors.
