I too, love the way this Perl makes the tires look!! I'll be testing it out on other stuff for sure. 👍✊ appreciate the comments as always and you take care!
PapaSmurf, I too use PERL on my tires. As you mentioned, preparation is key, to all of your viewers! If your tires are not deep cleaned, any product will not last long on the surface. FOR YOUR VIEWERS...This is how I deep clean tires & wheels, if they have never beep properly prepared. Step 1 - Clean tire with mineral spirits. Step 2 - Spray & scrub tires, wheels & wheel wells with Eagle One Black Plasti Coat wheel cleaner, don't forget to spray barrels of wheels. Step. 3 - Spray & scrub tire & wheels with Meguiars Non Acid Wheel Cleaner . Step 4 - spray & scrub tires & wheels with Super Clean, can be diluted 4:1. Repeat step 4 if tire are still browning. Step 5 - Spray on PERL, diluted 1:1, then repeat step 5 after PERL HAS DRIED COMPLETELY. PERL WILL LAST WEEKS! Thanks Papa for making your videos...I do appreciate you!
You are absolutely correct 👍🏻 prep is KEY!! I have gotten great results with Perl I love it. Appreciate you watching and giving us your cleaning process✊🏼
Hahaha there's always one that ya forget! 🤣 thanks man, this Perl is a fantastic product. I'm going to be trying it out on other applications for sure. Love the way the tires look with it though!!! Take it easy my friend! Appreciate the comment as always!✊👍
Haha man me too. I though woah what this milky runny.....wait a minute....hold on...what's happening...ohhh myyyy awesomeness!!! 😂 I absolutely love this stuff brother! Thank you!
i used 1:1 on tires and 1:5 as interior dressing and it was superb more than a week of durability and if used full strength on tire 2 weeks plus durability. with normal conditions.
That's awesome! Really liking the Perl, since this video the tires still look great! Next ill try on interior.. Just not a fan of shiny plastics so haven't been in a rush lol. Love the Griots interior detailer as it leaves a factory look. Appreciate the comment!✊👍
Thanks Steve! Man, it has so many uses. I'm not sure if it leaves interior shiney or not but I'll have to test it out on my test door! I LOVE the way it leaves the tires nice and dark and clean looking. You for sure gotta try it! Take it easy brother!👍👌 go grab another cup of joe☕🤣
Great video brother thats my combination with the adams applicator im gonna trynit diluted because i use it straight and the instruction says for tires 1:1. Adams tire armor was my favorite until i try carpro perl
Alkemy, I have definitely wanted to try using a brush to apply. Some tires are difficult to get in all the nooks and crannies lol. Thanks for the tip!👍✊
CarPro PERL is the best plastic/rubber dressing I've EVER used, and I've been using tire dressing since the days we had no alternatives except brake fluid !!
I’ve always wondered which one does a better job for the tires between Adam’s VRT, Chemical Guys VRP, or Car Pro Perl. Currently have VRT with zero complaints. However, seeing all the dilution ratios for Perl it seems like you get a better bang for your buck. Will have to give this a try. Great demo bro, keep the videos coming! 😄
Thanks Christian!! Yeah I have VRT, VRP, and Perl.. used them all. Perl takes it hands down. Not saying that the others are bad. But for me, IMO Perl leaves the tires exactly how I love them. Not too shiny. Not oily.. but rich, deep black and clean👌👍 appreciate cha bud! Take care!!✊✊
@@ryanmulhearn8843 they are both absolutely fantastic tire shines 👍👍👍 that Ethos lasted me about 2 months on my GSX. Great product. Looking forward to testing this Perl's longevity.
Thanks man! To be completely honest... I didn't see much of a difference between 1:1 and straight up. So why not have twice as much product 😄👍 appreciate you watching man!👍
I've heard nothing but great things about PERL... the one downside: the price. Four liters of product for 100... you can get CG VRP 1 gallon for just under 40. Awesome video man!
It is a fantastic product.. although it's more expensive than VRP.. I've used both and for tires Perl takes the cake hands down. Now I don't use this daily so if i were detailing daily I'd have to go with VRP.. Perl goes on my cars🤣🤣 still a fan of VRP though. I've used it many times.
@@PapaSmurf918Detail I can definitely agree with that. I'm in the process of starting a detailing business to earn some part time income so I always try to find the best products at the right price.
@@japspec96 oh ok I gotcha! Yeah, having a business and product price is crucial. That return on investment gotta be worth it👍👍 you don't always need the most expensive products✊ it's amazing what you can do with off the shelf products these days the technology is just amazing! Best of luck to you and the detail business. I do it on the side for a little extra cash here and there. But I feel if I did it as a main income it would take the fun and the therapeutic state away if that makes any sense hahaha.
@@PapaSmurf918Detail lol yeah I can't do it for a full time income. It would definitely take the fun out of it for me. I just want to do it to offset all the money I spend on detailing products myself lol. If it brings in a little extra, cool. If not, at least I can cover my own supplies lol.
@@japspec96 lol looks like we are both on the same page! The satisfaction at the end is truly worth it. I love seeing people's face when they see what I can do to there cars 👍👍
I have not tried Hyper dressing just yet. But, out of Adam's VRT, CG VRP, which were my other go to tire dressings. ( not counting the spray type like Griots black satin which I love just not a fan of spray shines. They get everywhere ) Perl takes the win. Second go to shine is the Ethos Tire shine.
@@TurnThemWheels ahhh.. I've heard Adam's was awesome. So many tire shines these days! Lol it's hard to pick just 1. I honestly depending on what the person likes finish wise when I detail, I'll bounce from different ones I have👍
@@PapaSmurf918Detail Nice, I just applied it today after usually just using the crappy ArmorAll foam spray that doesn't even last a week. I put 3 coats on so I'm hoping it lasts. I also put it on the plastic area where your wipers rest and it made it look way better than before. I'm glad this stuff seems to work so well since I was hesitant to buy it considering the price
Awesome man. Yes, perl is a great product. Works great in plastics at 3:1 or even 5:1.. was my absolute favorite tire dressing for a while. Still one of my top 3.. Wowo's tyre restorer is fantastic. My favorite..
