I am usually surprised by prices quoted on here, as they are far higher than I thought. This one, completely the opposite. This is an iconic piece of TV History. At auction, it could go for so much more. (An example: a pair of blue jeans worn by Olivia Newton John on an episode of THE MIDNIGHT SPECIAL in the 1970's recently went for 50,000.00 via her estate auction).

That show would never be made these days. Surprised reruns haven't been yanked off the air.

I’m really stunned and sad that the daughter in law was either that stupid or just ignorant to sell that jacket for $40 to any old person who walked into Archie Bunker’s closet ! Most def should be in a museum of some sort. It’s lovely to see it, too.
