Easy way to add some night visibility. I had bad camera placement so my head blocked lot of the shots as I had to lean in to see better. Lume powder used was naturel green. Music: Young Me Dreaming Musician: Carl Storm
Has anyone tried this combined with rotating the polarizer for a negative screen effect? I'd imagine that it would be the inverse of this where the numbers would be green and the background would be darker.
Very cool. I’d really like to see how this would turn out on a 9400 rangeman blackout with the negative display. The backlight is awesome on it…so much so it’s better than the regular display in broad daylight…but a constant lume on the numbers (since it’s negative) would be cool as well.
You cut out key parts of this. Is that clear plastic part the back of the LCD? Did you apply the lime coating without removing the reflective background?
Sorry was hard to film this since I had to lean down alot. But the clear plastic part is what I applied the lume too. Its not attached to the LCD but stills right behind the lcd. I left the two way mirror part on still. Might consider going back in and removing.
I'd like to try this but with glow in the dark tape. Just cut out and install just like this but instead of the paint, it's a sticker. Do you think it'll work the same or is this paint brighter?
@@jackoscar11 because LCDs are subtractive light displays meaning they obscure existing light to make the display where LED watches are additive using their own light to make the image display
