Happy Friday, m'loves!
A SPEED BUILD is upon us...finally! Casita Selvadorada is a rental property in the beautiful world of Selvadorada. I built this with honeymooners in mind, so t would be the perfect escape for your newlyweds! I'll be back on Tuesday with more Let's Build THE WORLDS! Have a lush weekend :)

This was such a beautiful build! I think it would be really cool to do a “around the world” build challenge where you spin a wheel with different countries and then do a build from that country. I’d also just love some Irish influenced builds lol

I'd love it if you could try making an Indonesian traditional house called rumah Joglo. It's a traditional house architecture & build in Java, and the roof is so pretty. Plus, because they're usually made using wood, the house will be filled with wood carving doors / windows etc. It's so pretty.

Hey Aden. Love your builds. I would really enjoy seeing something in a Mudejar style (from Spain where you can see influences of Jewish, Muslim and Christian culture combined) or some typical German Fachwerk (vernacular/timber framed). I am sure you could pull of anything though and that whatever you decide on will be amazing!!! 🥰

If you ever consider building something Portuguese inspired (we have one of the world's oldest alliances with the UK, just saying love) I would love to see your version of Pena Palace in Sintra (go ahead search for it darlings, it's absolutely breathtaking in my opinion of course 😅) Haven't commented in a long while, but I'll always watch your content 😊

I’d love to see you attempt a Ndebele house, Devon! It’s a South African classic :) Not sure if it’s even possible in the Sims 4 🤔

Would love to see a classic Australian outback home. You could even put a dystopian spin on it (think Russell Drysdale/ Jeffrey Smart). Main reason being (!).... would be nice to get a bit of Aussie representation in a Sims build for a change. ❤

You definitely have to have a look at the Australian "Queenslander" houses, You can find such nice houses with beautiful details that were built to withstand the wild Australian climate and it would be amazing to see you build one... Love you, thank you for helping me get through a really hard time, I'm only 17 and have been dealing with some really bad health issues, and you are the reason I've been smiling xxx

Queenslanders are amazing, I’ve even tried building one myself and almost finished it. There’s some really nice CC for the stained glass windows and paneled walls out there if you search for it. We all hope you feel better soon love

Amazing build as always. Would definitely send my sims here for a vaca or honeymoon. Look, if Texas can have fireplaces standard in most of their houses so can Selvadorado. While in Indiana and Illinois, you have to custom build your house to get a fireplace when we get real winters. Like Below zero temps. Not bitter at all 🤣 Just sayin!

Every child loves a Disney film. My daughter recently had some friends over (from many different backgrounds and cultures) and they had a discussion about how they missed out as little girls and wanted to see themselves in movies. It broke my heart to hear how they longed to be represented and never was. I also love the architecture and design in Ghost Recon Wildlands (old already). It is set in Bolivia and have recreated some of it in the Sims.

This is such a great build for a honeymoon. I love all your builds and creativity. love that you built in this world. I would love to see you build a Bali home in this world as well. Everyone builds in Sulani, to represent the shoreline. However, Bali's interior is mainly jungle.

I love the idea of doing more builds in this world! I used to live in Mexico and I love these kinds of houses. They’re not like every day homes in the area I lived but they’re very much like the rental places you could go and say. Love the Spanish inspired stuff you do

This build is simply stunning! You translated that Encanto inspiration really well, it truly feels magical! I must say I would be curious to see your take on French architecture! Especially the southern type (but not necessarily coastal!) which is less seen in sims builds!

Aden, I would love to see you build an Ottoman Palace! It may be hard with the in game objects, but it is a challenge! You can look at Topkapı Palace or the Dolmabahçe Palace, both in Istanbul ♥️♥️

I saw Encanto about 2 weeks ago and have been obsessed since. I can’t stop singing all the songs, and I may or may not have cried 😩 lol I LOVE your take on casita! I’m American so it’s not my country, but I think it would be so cool to see you do a Queenslander home from Australia! They’re raised on stilts and prioritize air flow so all the rooms are connected and there’s usually a large veranda. And they were inspired by Asian-Pacific Islanders homes as well. They’re very beautiful. I myself have been working on a modern renovated lighthouse home based on Hamptons homes in the American northeast. I think you could also knock one of those out of the park!

I love this build, also wanted to say I absolutely agree ‘discover with Devon’ is the perfect name for your new series, goes well with the EP discover university too! I would love to see more brutalist build, I found out about that style from one of your speed builds & I would love to see more. I would also like to see something welsh inspired (even though it’s still British).

You talked about suggestions and I had the idea of one, in Brazil (my country), we have a home style. called Bangalô Urbano, also known as "casa de vó" (grandma's house), they are traditional Brazilian houses from the last century and they are lovely, I believe you might like it and I would love to see your version of a Brazilian house, with the high fence and all.
