Casting Plaster of Paris in Silicone Moulds 

Great technique I have only ever used paper clay in these moulds x

Well you faired much better than I did....I used the same recipe as you but 90% of mine broke getting them out of the molds. I was beyond frustrated as I tried so hard to be gentle but they fell apart so easily.......which is why I was seeking out vids like yours and I couldn’t believe how well you did..kudos!

Thank you for you video, but how do you finish them? Do you use some stone polish?

Using acrylic caulking that has some silicon in it is much easier and not expensive. Using plaster of Paris to make objects looks too frail.

Do you paint these with Gesso prior adding color Acrylics or applying them to your art piece?

how do you finish these pieces? do you add a sealant?

Yes. I've never heard someone putting in dry first .

Have you tried using paper clay or air dry clay?
