There may be no enrage timer, but she will not fully reignite a third time. She just stays in her clawing-AoE-damage-phase until she overwhelms everyone. It's a soft enrage timer, basically a burn against your healer's mana.

Good choice of music, great game and great boss, tanking this boss was one of the greatest challenges I've had thus far (on hc) most wonderful

@dnlkr Some people did - But that's not the point - Enrage timers have become shorter - TBC's enrage timers were like 25 and 30 minutes, Wotlk 15 minutes and Cata 10 minutes (1 boss 8 minutes)

@halfpintgamescast That's the beauty of it. You can just run five mans to get gear that is equivalent to the ilvl of 4.0 raids, and they have nerfed the normal mode 4.0 content drastically to allow new players or alts easier access to gear so as they aren't stuck trying to do firelands. They pretty much do this with the release of every tier man so you should NEVER have to worry about missing some time in game its very easy to catch up as long as you do your research and you are a skilled player

ive been playing for a couple months now but have never done a raid because i dont have cata or wrath but this really makes me wanna do a raid.

I miss hearing Jesse talk about WoW and I miss the WoW review thing he used to do. :(

@halfpintgamescast Its never too late. That is the brilliance of WOW. Once one tier is over it allows players like yourself who can not play on a hardcore schedule to pick it back up whenever and easily gear up. Albeit, you won't be geared to the teeth like successful raiders of Firelands, but you can EASILY gear up enough to prepare for and kill normal mode firelands bosses! And with the help of Mojo's guides you should have no problems at all doing so!

Jesse does have a point, 4.2, firelands, is TOC of wotlk, and a 15min boss fight alrady... so deathwing, few patches away is going to be 25+ min fight, i may be wrong, but im just adding the things together

@danw91 Yep, enrage timer was at 30 minutes and world first was 24 minutes, if I recall correctly

Unless something has changed since the start of Firelands, there is an enrage timer. I think it was something after 3rd burn phase, which if fight is done correctly should not be reached.

During the fiery vortex phase you can also stack your raid up and take the hits just aoe heal through it

This encounter is epic in heroic.

@undeadjimm Ya we have been sitting on rag footage for him for other a month. He's taking his time getting it out but ya... Anyway, we originally only sent one person up because we felt we needed as much ground support as possible, but now that the normal mode of this fight is farmed we just work on getting kill times down. 2-3 people in the air on 25 man works magnificently.

There actually is somewhat of an enrage, after she burns out 3 times she won't go back into the air, he will stay down and own people.

Ulalah from Argent Dawn EU saying that you might be able to do it, but we cannot. Too many people just ignore strat and think we'll carry them :(

Error in the video. You get 30% more speed per feather, so 2 feathers = 60%.

Jesse, what's the heal assist addon you use? That press-to-heal at your target frame.

Jesse, that's normal there's no enrage timer, since you do the normal version of this boss, you don't have an enrage timer. Enrage is only on heroic. By the way, will you try to beat ragnaros or not?

@OMFGcata Surely because its 25 man you could send more people up to attack the boss? I fly up in our 10 man and can do 15% of the boss's total health in the air and easily another 5% in the burnout phase if get a ring in the fire tornado phase to reset my buff. in our kills I've killed the boss during the third phase one from in the air, just a heads up bro! nice videos though you killed raggy yet?

I think you're overcomplicating avoiding the tornados. You nearly have it with the ring concept. It's easier just to follow a tornado that pass to your left for example. you still run in an oval like shape but then there is no risk of being hit, where as with your circling method there is still risk. Following one that passes you = easy. Once your dps have that sorted they can dps the boss while avoiding tornados :)

@sladiewolf This fight is literally one of the easiest fights to heal ever in the game, and easily the most forgiving. You can EMPTY your mana bar in phase 1 and regen the ENTIRE thing in burnout phase by casting spells on the boss. If your running out of mana on this fight you are doing it very wrong.

When i do this with my guild the adds arnt going down by the time we get into P2 so we keep wiping. Is there any other way that you can get the hatchlings down faster?

Why were you flying? When i downed this boss we sent up our arcane mages to do massive nuke damage. Why send a healer up?

can someone help me with a question. my guild is doing this boss last so we are just doing it now since we have everything else on 1 shot now. im the one that is going up and i noticed there are the same rings on the ground in the tornado phase. are these the same as the ones in the air so i can keep my massive haste buff?

we... I am sort of a PVP mafia and I haven't done pve since wrath until 4 days ago. I made my self a pug on Stormreaver with friends from long back in the days. And we killed Ragnaros the secon day :s We had ONE person who actually had some firelands experience. My point right here is that none of the bosses are "hard" in there. In fact, No bosses have been hard since tbc. Lich king took time to kill since you where limited on you're attempts.

@HypnoToadisREAL u should send up fire mages with arcane gear for really fast ticks and lots of crit plus quick casting pyroblasts.

@Blackhammer99 Nice to now man, working on raggy ourselves at the moment its a fun fight although the sons of flame scare the shit out of me when the spawn there like lightning! But nice kill on Alysrazor and if you haven't had chance to fly yet try it, its easy and you don't do much!

All those tornados... reminds me of some kind of a bullet hell game.
