I just got done installing the centerstand on my 2023 CB500X. Thanks to your video, the job took about twenty minutes and couldn't have been easier. I really appreciate the time you and your kids took to put this out. It was a big help.
Great vid. How did you get the rotating rod in there so easily? I lubed the heck out of that thing and still had to tap it in with a hammer! That was harder than the spring for me.
Hey nice video! I might have two dumb questions. The first, I may have missed it, but what brand is the center stand? And second, I see that the front wheel is off the ground when the stand is in place. Can you pivot the bike so the back wheel is off the ground to work on it, or does the balance not allow for that?
Great video! After watching I'm certain i can install the center stand without too much trouble. Can you confirm the part number for the Honda OEM center stand? There's a lot of confusion around fitment when i try to find the correct one online for my 2022 CB500X.
Can you remove both wheels with the center stand down? I have so much trouble with my front stand was looking at getting one of these for tire changes.
If you support the bike with a floor jack or some wood or something, yeah. I have taken both tires off, one at a time, with this center stand. Rear is no problem it balances with that tire gone, but if you take the front off it tends to tip backward onto the rear wheel. So you would have to block the bike up under the oil pan and from the rear if you wanted to take both tires off at the same time.
