NoooOOoOooOoOoOOoOO!!!!
Racing is over for the rest of the year!
Only managed to get a couple of races from this year, and this one was by far one of the funnest!
I didn't get too crazy in this race. I did however managed to stay with the group pretty much up until the last lap where I ultimately was pulled and couldn't finish my last lap, but I did get a place! So no DNP/DNF, lol.
I don't have much else to say on this one since I said pretty much everything I needed to in the commentary.
Shoutouts to the Chamois Brothers and Efrain Tash (good work out there again!). PMA did some solid work. GoFast and Stage2 did the same, so shoutouts to you guys as well and everyone else!
I will be uploading more content so stick around for random videos of adventures and progress till the next race season and other fun projects I have already being slowly worked on!

I just want to say that bike racing is something you will love and hate all in the same hour :) You are sticking with it and in time it will just become more natural to hold a wheel and be more comfortable in the pack. Couple things: - Get a stationary trainer for your warm up, it only takes a couple minutes to set up. You want your legs nice and warm for the start!! - Train with a buddy or a local group ride and practice holding a wheel as close as possible to get in the draft. You will be amazed on how much energy you will save! - Line up at the starting line closer to the front. This will force you to stay in the pack for the first few laps and you will be saving more energy and way less gaps :) Keep the videos coming. Good luck on your upcoming season!!

I have to agree to the “racing is something you will love and hate” part for sure, lol. It’s definitely been an interesting learning curve that I’m catching on to pretty quickly. I have to still say that bumping shoulders and having a wheel in front of yours within a foot is still sketchy as hell, but that fine line of safe/screwed is something I live for, lol. I do take my trainer but I actually choose to ride out on the open road before the race because it helps me zone out to calm down (race nerves are super sky high at times for me). Every week I ride with a friend or if I spot a small group I tag along and catch some wheels (share the work of course, no free rides, lol). Line up at the front? Ahhh man, lol. That’s like asking me to sit at the front of a class. But then again, you could be absolutely right, so for sure I will try that out! Race opener(s) are a few weeks away so I will be out there! Great show! Excited to see how far you can go with this. Cycling sucess doesn't come easy and it's like a mystery you have to solve. The girlfriend is amazing (getting there with you early and being cold...and still continual giving encouragement). Nice shoes. Train HARD! "Rail the Gutter" I can't wait to see your improvement in 2022!

Thank you for watching and commenting! Everyone seriously put on a good show, everyone raced well and things were pretty smooth for the most part which made this by far one of the funnest races for me (so far, lol). She definitely suffered a bit and I appreciate her coming out and helping me with random things I probably space out on and supporting as well as pinning me up. She’s a champ. I love these shoes. Think lace-ups are a little underrated. Need more for sure! Thank you, lol. 2022 is right around the corner and hopefully the new year brings even more for us all! 🔥🤟🏻 hopefully no drops and somewhere in the top end of the group or better!

Fast but smooth is I think the best way to have these races. By far one of the only CBR races that I’ve done where things weren’t super crazy and only one crash, lol. I believe you came in mid pack at the finish? Good finish and finished the season with the rubber down! 🤟🏻

Cool air wasn't a factor for me, but I warmed up, so that helped me a lot, was cold at first!!

That’s good! Clearly my warm up wasn’t long enough, lol. Think I did a 35min warm up or something. Think for next time I’ll wear a neck gaiter to help out a bit. That’s the one thing that has helped me out the most during colder riding. Good work out there! 🤟🏻

@@railthegutterI wore a jacket over my jersey just to warm up, then removed it before, it helped me a lot!
