Tbh when i started, I used to do bulgarian split squads with barbell on a smith machine, I felt a lot of knee pain because of the unatural movement of the smith machine. Now I do regular bulgarian split squads with dumbells, knee is feeling better and seeing more gains🏋‍♂️

6:35 you are wrong. chin ups and neutrals target lats MORE than pull ups due to the arm path. when the arm is close to the body u get more shoulder extension, which is main function of lats. also, neutrals are by far easiest on the joints and probably everyone can do them pain free. most important: diffrent grips are about muscle EMPHASIS, not ELIMINATION. it's all about variety, switch grips once every 2 months or until u hit plateau. btw nowhere i said pull ups won't hit ur lats - chin ups will just do it better. none of the grips is either better or worse choice (unless ur torso dominant).

Disagree with the neutral grip pullup take icl, they're a very good exercise. They've been my primary back exercise for a while and my lats have blown up since ive gotten pretty strong at them, plus they've added alot of thickness to my arms too

Yeah don’t why Martin is saying what he is. The neutral grip will force a more elbow tucked position hitting more lats compared to a pronated one. Plus Chris stated he chose the neutral grip as it easier on the shoulder and you won’t get an over use problem compared to pronated grip.

@@AngelLopez-gq7jy bcz he doesnt know tf is talking about 💀, as you said neutral is the best for lat bias, whereas superwides with pronated grip are a ton of teres and lower lats, standard supinated pullup is jack of all trades that basically hits everything including a bit of traps and rhomboids, but doesnt particularly focus on any part of the back

neutral grip pull up anatomically hits your lats the best as its just a vertical version of any lat row such as a db row or seated row which are the best for the lats and most often used

My top ten would be 1 Flat bench 2 incline bench with barbell and dumbell 3 shoulder press with barbell standing . 4 lat pulldown 5 cable row 6 deadlift 7 squat with barbell 8 hammer curl with ropes 9 tricep pushdown 10 Some chest exersise like with cables .

Yes you can do higher reps lower weight, like 12-20 reps in order to learn the movement. I am making a beginner program soon that should be out in the next week so stay tuned.

Well I know he will say lunges, barbell quarter squats, just sprinting, and hip thrusts with Leon Edward's to build your glutes which will help with speed. Amd for strength big 3 and pull ups are probably some cable flys overhead press and I think curls. Should set you up. Idk what exactly he'd say though

why would I do bicep curls with the intent of maximum stability and core challenge? I’m hitting arms not core. If I want core demands I’ll do single leg db deadlifts, suitcase deadlifts farmers Carries; and the list goes on And after my core and stabilizers are brunt I’ll do bicep curls and seated shoulder press( so my glutes don’t help while I’m isolating upper body strength) With proper game planning many different techniques can be implemented
