I have worked with all types of mediums, from ceramics clay, gouache, water color, acrylic, and oil

So I came here because I want to paint my porch that cement color a cement color. I know that sounds kind of bland but you helped me because I realized that I can do it with acrylic paint mixing it with.

Hello! Thank you for sharing this! I’m new to using cement so this was super helpful. If you don’t mind, I have a few questions. 1. Is adding plaster solely for the texture or are there other reasons like increase in durability / strength? 2. Is this the ratio you use 2:2:1 cement & plaster & water to get that ‘pancake’ texture? 3. is plaster what gives a whiter shade? Is there a way to get it completely white? Thank you so much in advance!!!

Hi, which ratio did you find out to be making the strongest ones? Because mine very easily break. Please let me know the proportions of white cement and plaster of paris that you use? And do you add anything in white cement?

I would increase cement after both are equally mixed to make it stronger currently going to experiment adding sika acrylic polymer to see if that helps

Thank you, Good ol alcohol is in the bottle. Yea try resculpting sanding scraping etc..
