@@kameron.r oh i have oily to normal skin and the lotion worked great on me but the cream takes a long time to sink in my face, once it took half a day to sink in. (plus it feels super heavy and just feels gross on my skin)
@@SarahhhBeth They have 19oz in all of these Moisturizing cream Daily lotion Hydrating face wash Foaming face wash SA cream for rough and bumpy skin Itch relief moisturizing cream
I used too use them all the time but had to stop cause it was giving and feeding my fugle acne. Im a huge vanicream fan now. I think every cerave fan should try it :)
there is so many products! i went to walmart a few weeks ago and there was maybe one cleanser on the shelf, went back yesterday and it was like a WHOLE NEW aisle just for CeraVe.
Yes!! I feel like that would make things easier to understand! I did a video explaining my routine a while back but I didn’t physically show it! It’s here in the meantime incase you’re interested! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-MUjjuCuOHA4.html
I love cerave! My skin is really sensitive and the SA cleanser doesn’t dry it out at all honestly probably the most gentle sa cleanser I’ve ever tried I also use there baby cream a little goes on a long way and since it’s made for babies it works on my sensitive skin ^^
I know right!! Every other salicylic acid cleanser has dried me out so bad, especially the neutrogena ones!! I’m sure the CeraVe baby line is amazing!!
I love Cerave 💜 My fave products from them are the face washes, both the hydrating and foaming versions, cream (the best), and the PM moisturizer. It’s a little bit more pricy in Canada but nothing too bad. Great review! I wish I was able to find the healing ointment. I was in the US and couldn’t find it anywhere. It’s not available in Canada.
CeraVe is the best❤️ so glad that you love them too! I found my healing ointment in Walgreens! When you come back to the US, maybe try there or target!
Helpful Tips to Improve your videos (aka constructive criticism)\ 1. Try to focus on looking at the camera lens and not the view finder :) 2.try to stay in the centre of the video because in come clips you are off to the side :) That’s all i would recommend:) (NOTE: this is not a hate comment i am trying to help this AMAZING RU-vidr grow with helpful tips, ty.
Thank you so much!! I definitely agree that I need to work on those things and I notice it too!! I appreciate the constructive criticism, thank you for your kind and helpful comment!!❤️
Using the niacinamide from the ordinary along with the Cerave SA cleanser cleared up my skin entirely. Hormonal breakouts and little whiteheads are gone with the wind after finding that combo!!!!
Emily Rose how did you use the niacinamide from the ordinary? Like did you rub it all over your face / how many times a week? Sorry if I’m bothering you 💓
@@fern2928 you should try it out at like 2/3x a week initially. Once you know how your skin reacts/it doesn't irritate your face, you can up the amount of times per week. I use it daily at night followed by a moisturizer, some people use it twice a day (morning and night).
Really love your country accent!!! btw jus recently started using Cerave and just overnight it REALLY TRULY removed the inflammation of my acne and redness. Love it.
I love CeraVe products! I also use the SA cream on my chest, legs and feet. I agree, it really helps with the texture and makes it softer. Great video btw!
@@amdaskmydad7393 I do, and it works like a charm! I'm obsessed with the SA moisturiser, it's just so-good😍 u might want to be careful if u have acne or anything, cuz it might sting a lil (which is understandable considering that it's acidic - just saying u might want to leave those parts out).
I love my Cerave PM! It has niacinamide which helps with my tretonoin use!! It's too bad it didnt work for you :( I also use the SA cream on the bumps on my arms. Great video btw!! Love ittttt
Hi Sarah! I love your skin reviews then you saved my life as I got a bad burned through Retinol and vitamin C. The only bad thing is I only get these CeraVe products on Amazon, a bit more expensive because here in Germany they are difficult to find.
I have bad cystic acne and I’ve fallen down a cerave review hole. Do you recommend buying all the products or just trying out a few before fully committing? Also do you think that they work best if you use strictly cerave or can you mix with other products
I would just buy one of the basic cleaners (foaming if you’re more oily, hydrating if you’re more dry) and the daily moisturizing lotion at first! And maybe the benzoyl peroxide cleanser to use a few days a week to help prevent new acne! Then you can start adding stuff for extra benefit! Also remember your spf!
This brand would be your safest bet in terms of efficacy. It’s adorable, gentle, reliable and most importantly not likely to break you out! Remember that fragrance and fun package with fancy actives all at once is not going to help. Start extremely mild with a basic cleanser and makeup remover (bioderma micellar water, Cerave micellar water, Cetaphil makeup remover, Then cleanse with Cetaphil, Cerave, or Avène or la Roche posts or Etude house soon jung line. Add a retinoid and an antibiotic. A great resource if it’s available to you would be Cureology no it’s a gimmick it’s prescription strength medication from a real doctor. Oh and ALWAYS wear a sunscreen! Preferably a mineral one as they are less likely to cause inflammation and clog pores. Make sure you are properly removing it in the evening though!
I have cystic acne too and have used Cerave for years! I use tons of their products. The hydrating cleanser has been the best for my skin. I thought my skin was oily but it’s actually combo oily and all the products I was using for oily skin was drying me out more and creating more acne. The hydrating cleanser is amazing as is the daily lotion and moisturizing cream. I use the sa cleanser on my chest and back for body acne!
When I first started my skincare routine, I used the pm at night but it was too light on my skin, it didn't moisturizd as much as I had hoped. I switched to the moisturizing cream after that and haven't strayed since!
Cerave PM causes breakouts because it has the pore clogging ingredient polygyleril-3-disoseretate. Use cosdna.com to look up the ingredients on your skincare products and only use products with 1-3 acne ratings. I love cerave to but unfortunately some of their products like the pm moisturizer and the lotion have pore clogging ingredients. A good alternative is the differin soothing moisturizer, its my holy grail! It helped clear my back acne too. Hope this helps!
Hi Sarah it’s your biggest fan and Did you know if you go to bath and body works and ask for free samples they will give it to you I got a sample of a perfume that was not gonna be out till November please reply 🤪
CeraVe has literally helped so much! I was looking at old pictures of my skin and I was like woahhhh because looking at it day to day in the mirror I don’t realize how much better it’s gotten! Thank you for watching and for your kind comment!!❤️
I love cerave and am so impressed with how many of their products you have! I also have a bunch of their moisturizer but I'm definitely going to buy the acne foaming cream cleanser now!
My favorite is the daily hydrating lotion!! Even though it says it’s for normal to dry skin, I think it would work great for oily skin as well! I have normal-oily skin and it works well for me and doesn’t make me more oily or break me out!
I have strawberry legs too! 😩 Unfortunately the PM moisturizer didn’t work for me either. I love the daily moisturizing lotion and the ultra light sunscreen!! 💕
The PM moisturizer seems to not work for a lot of people! (At least from what people are letting me know in the comments) I think they reformulated it a while back and a lot of people have had trouble with it since! So glad they have the daily moisturizing lotion though!! And I agree with you on the ultra-light sunscreen! It’s very comfortable to wear!
Strawberry legs- I used to have them until quarantine XD I've basically been wearing shorts. I thought it was the shaving so I stopped. But it was actually wearing pants that was irritating my skin way too much. RN I have my hairy bare legs with barely strawberry legs ha... 😅
I have dry skin with eczema and my husband has dry/combo akin and we both use the hydrating cleanser! And the SA moisturizing cream for rough and bumpy skin is amazing for my husbands texture and acne prone body acne
I am a Cerave fan. Their products have been amazing (except the PM moisturizer which caused some breakouts). I love your sincerity towards your viewers! I look forward to more of your videos.
Hi ,I have normal to dry skin.and have dark spots .I use nothing on face because cannot afford.skin care products r very expensive for me.but i wish to use Cerave products.and cosrx snail essence .but nobody help in this word.the people who can afford ,also don't help others who cannot afford.no body hep In this world
Mam can u send me Cerave products if u can afford.because I cannot afford.I really want to use skin care products .plz can u help me.if u cannot. Then it's also fine
I'm working on my skincare routine and I removed all my products since they weren't doing me good. Now I bought: CeraVe moisturizing lotion, Aztec Indian Clay Mask, and a gel exfoliater. They been doing wonders for me! I'll buy a cleanser soon and I'm just waiting for my skin to adjust. I already have the 3 important steps in a simple skincare routine and I'm just missing cleanser. My skin is sooo CLEAR✨
I have no clue if you are going to see this but would you put the salicylic acid moisturizer on your face (the moisturizer you put on your legs, chest and shoulders) do you know what I’m talking about
I’ve seen record online of people doing that and getting good results but I’ve also heard that it’s harsh for the the face so I don’t know if I would or not! The salicylic acid cleanser is enough for my skin!
The cerave cleansing water burns my eyes. I love their foaming cleanser~ I have tried the Cerave PM lotion. It was stingy for the first few times and now I don't feel that sting anymore. However, the PM lotion is just not moisturizing enough for me :(
Have you tried the new version of the micelles water? I know a ton of people said the old formula stung their eyes like crazy and I think that’s why they reformulated! The foaming cleanser is the best!! Thanks for watching!!
I really loved the CeraVe PM lotion :) We have a similar skin type, but that just goes to show different our skin really can be! My skin doesn't take well to niacinamide in high concentrations, so this product delivered a gentle amount in a way that didn't irritate my skin. Perhaps it was the niacinamide that irritated your skin? I also have the CeraVe daily lotion, and I love it for the body!
Dang that sucks that the PM didn’t work for you. It’s texture is more luxurious than many luxury moisturizers I’ve used. Always keep a bottle of it on my shelf. Oh and I agree with the cream, I thought I’d hate it cause I have oily skin but omg it’s creamy gold as a night cream.
I like to use the cerave foaming facial cleanser at night because I need to get rid of dirt but in the morning I like more gentle cleanser so I use cerave hydrating cleanser I would recommend that
I have extremely oily skin and I suffer with acne I originally decided to buy the cerave sa cleanser and the cerave benzoyl peroxide cleanser but should I get the foaming face wash instead? Please help!!
It might be really oily because you’re using too drying of products too frequently! You could try using the foaming facial cleanser every night and use one of the acne washes a few nights a week!
Do you recommend the cerave moisturising CREAM to combination skin in winter? I currently use its lotion but for winter i think i need to use a little bit heavier cream. Should i shift to its cream? Plus i have acne and blackheads and all other blemishes 😭
Would you prefer the cereve lotion or the cream? I have the cereve cream and the baby moisturizing cream, but I'm looking to buy the sa version, but I'm not sure which one to get. I use the cereve cream on my face and it's been working pretty good for me.
I need to try it!! Do you think it could still work well even though I have normal to oily skin?? I have tried the neutrogena creamy cleanser in the past and it ended up clogging my pores and breaking me out pretty badly over the span of a few weeks! I don’t know if my skin just didn’t like that specific product or if it didn’t like the creamy formula in general since it leans more on the oily side.
Sarahhh Beth my brother has oily skin and he uses it and he doesn’t seem to have an issue with it. I really like the feeling of it afterwards, you should give it a try and tell me your thoughts on it afterwards. I’m not really familiar with Neutrogena but I do own the hydro boost gel cream.
ItsAna Did the cleanser ever break you out? Or cause mini white bumps? If so did it ever clear Because many ppl have been saying it broke them out and I’m really wanting to buy it but I’m scared
@@itsanna9867 I've been trying it out over the past week and I'm LOVING it so far!! Thank you so so much for your recommendation!! I might even like it better than the foaming cleanser!! Im going to keep using it before I make a final decision though lol!
I use the PM moisturizer and it hadn't broke me out and I have the same skin type. Maybe you just had a reaction to an ingredient! We all have different skin though!
I use product skin still dry ,i use soap and hydrated cleaners my still dry,my problems have super dry skin.don,t use lotion because sweat lot live tropic.
I’m so glad to hear that!! I hadn’t used mine in a while and I was breaking out pretty badly on my chest and back the other day so I used some of the SA cream on the areas and I swear it helped some overnight!
I just wanted to say that I really appreciate the few videos I’ve seen of yours already!! I too am a big fan of Dr. Dray, so I appreciate watching videos from a fellow fan lol. I really, really enjoy of your genuine and authentic personality, and your product reviews only further enforce my own feelings of the same items!! I appreciate your channel, and have subscribed!!
I have started using all cerave products for my adult/hormonal acne and the thing that's been the most effective for that specifically has been the resurfacing retinol serum!!!!! It has helped keep my acne at bay. I saw major improvement in everything, pores, texture, acne within the first 2 weeks!!
Hi I’ve used the foaming cleanser (normal to oily skin) but it broke me out 😐 I’m really look for a good cleaner to clear me up. I have combo skin, little bumps on my forehead and very oily t-zone. I sometimes get spots on my cheek but this is only since I’ve used Cerave. Which would you recommend (doesn’t have to be Cerave).
Great review! I’m excited to hear that they have reformulated the Micellar water, because I have used it before and it DID sting my eyes. I’m gonna try it again 😊
You're using the micellar water correctly. Dermatologists recommend always cleansing your skin after using it. So many people be using it as a substitution for water, and just proceed to their skin care routine after using it. No bueno🙅🏻♀️ always wash it off.
Did the green foaming cleanser ever make your face red and itchy when first using it ? It’s causing me to get little white heads and it tends to get my face red and itchy too
You could try the CeraVe am (moisturizer with spf 30) or you can always use a separate moisturizer and sunscreen! A lot of sunscreens are in moisturizing vehicles already!
You definitely can! If I wash my face in the mornings I like to use a benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid cleanser to get that active ingredient on my skin! I have an am skincare routine on my channel if you want to check it out! I have been using the new Cerave Salicylic acid acne cleanser instead of the renewing one though!
It’s such a struggle!! I just learned to put normal moisturizer onto your damp skin out of the shower and wait for it to dry before putting the salicylic acid cream on!! If you put the salicylic acid cream into damp skin it has the potential to cause more irritation! I just learned this a few days ago and didn’t mention it in the video so I thought I would let you know!! Thanks for watching!
omg i have all of these minus the acne cleanser and the micellar water. I used to love the hydrating cleanser, but about a year ago, it started stinging around my nose on the edges. I don't know why, and the pm lotion does the same now. So had to switch to vanicream for my cleanser, but still, one of my favorite brands!
I adore cerave! I use their sa cleanser on my body. It helps A LOT with ingrown hair problem and back acne. Also hydrating one is amazing! Doesn't dry me out and cleanses very good. I've just received a huge bottle of cerave moisturizing lotion(1000ml) that i use on my face and body! So you can tell i really love cerave stuff😆 btw pm face lotion broke me out too and gave me redness, but i'm not mad cause my mother loves it😬 thanks for your video!
Yeah hun i dont like the pm facial moisturizer either. I have sensitive skin. It just doesn't feel right. Have you tryed spectro cleansers? Their great
I see you mention you did not like the PM version, have you ever tried the AM version? My current sunscreen moisturizer just feels oily at the end of the day and it leaves a kinda off putting film. So I am worried to jump into something else with possibly the same issues. I do not see the AM in any of your videos so thought I'd ask. 👍
@@SarahhhBeth good to know. I decided against it just to not put my skin through more irritation when I am having it currently. Sticking with the regular daily lotion instead.
