I have one and have been riding about 2000km. I love it and it works fine so far. Suspension is very good, but factory setting is a bit hard for onroad use so i had to soften it up for it to be comfortable. Gearingbox and gearing is a bit short so it gets very revy on the highway. I fixed that with a 15 tooth front sprocket and now it's perfect. RPM are just below 5000rpm at 90km/h. Throttle is a bit sensitive from closed to open just like every other bike with euro emission exhaust regulations. A good map takes care of that issue. Other then that the bike is really solid and feels WAY more premium then the price suggests.
@@nobleabraham6498 On average with a heavy throttle i'm on 4.5l/100km but if i drive sensible it will be around 3.8-4.0/100km After i changed to a 15 tooth on the front sprocket i get even better milage. Haven´t driven very much since i changed but in 90km/h fuel consumption is around 3.5-3.8 on a straight road. So i will absolutely go well above 400km on a single tank if i drive sensible.
Mine has been uncrated at the dealership. They sent me photos. They received ten (all pre-sold) and mine is getting prepped in line. I'll be picking it up in the next few days. Brisbane Australia. Exciting.
Oh, I believe that the 'MT' stands for - Multifunction Tourer, or Multi-use Tourer. Just what I wanted. A bike that is not too heavy and does everything well, and some things very well if the reports are anything to go by.
Wow exciting! I'm tempted to buy one here in Sweden, great price for a great bike!! But i don't think my wife wants me to get rid of the FJR1300, but it's never wrong with 2 bikes!
Wrong about the traction control. Both ABS and TCS are disconnected with the button. To disconnect one or the other individually requires using the menu.
Hopefully CFMoto will get the fuel & spark mapping sorted to overcome the snatchyness. I'd also expect an aftermarket anti-glare film to become available to eliminate reflections on the screen. Overall, it looks to be nice bike. Now I'm waiting for Kove to offer their ADV model(s).
Yest it is nice bike i wanted one but it is not possible to get one yet in Norway so i got a Honda 500 NX instead and that is a good bike too so those two can compares i would say both are good in it's own way.👍
I hate to be negative but you have a responsibility to get details right especially on a new to market bike that so many people are interested in. The standard seat height is 820mm,it can be lowered to 800mm. The traction control can be turned off with the same switch as the rear ABS. I test rode the bike and loved it.
You could easily lower it to 800 mm without changing to a different seat. I think it's more important to tell a potential custommer the lowest seat height possible than to tell how it's set up for most people. But you're right about the ABS/TCS, my bad for that!
@@SamOnABikeSweden I think all you had to say was that the standard seat height is 820mm and it can be lowered to 800mm via a built in lowering link at the bottom of the rear shock. I appreciate how much effort goes into making YT video, so it always amazes me when the basic bike details are wrong.
@@davidz8 You can write a book, have it read proofed by professionals, having the book editor, publishing house involved, books hit the shelves, you as an author pick one from the shelf and still afraid to find a typo...happy if it was not in the chapter title...my friend told me so after having 12 books published...so yeah, an error in YT video is to be expected 😉
Thanks mate, I am going to keep my 36 years old Yamaha XT600 Tenere...same power, same torque, same range, and the sound...ah, the sound :-) And all that with one piston less...one must ask where exactly is the progress here ;-)
@@SamOnABikeSwedendon't get me wrong, your video was an eye opener to me, I mean this bike is 6300 EUR new here in Croatia, nothing else comes close! Honda CRF300 Rally is 1000 EUR more, and not everyone is lucky to have 36 years old bike still running and usable, so your video is spot on!
I have heard that we have the grey color here in Sweden, because they think that color will sell better than the blue one on this market. I dont know if we get the blue one at all, i haven't seen one
I will gladely keep on riding my "whale bike"! And since you clearly missed it, this is just a short, first test ride of the bike and not an in depth review. I wish you a great day!
