Guys this is a re review on request from one of the brothers in Fragcomm, thank you so much for this video idea, this is a very masculine old school and modern fragrance at the same time. I covered it long time ago but the video quality was bad. hope I could do justice here. I have a 2015 batch new bottle design, this fragrance was a hype beast some 10 years ago in Fragrance Community.

Great re-review Joy! 👍🏻 PE is an alltime favorite of mine. Don‘t bother with hunting the vintage version, the bottle is nice looking, but not worth the x-tra $. The latest vintages from 2015 have the same formula like the current, and almost all older formulations are gone bad. Believe me, I had bottles from every decade! Many douche bags think the gone-bad-smell is the „deeper, darker, stronger, bla bla vintage formulation“, but in fact it‘s just the gone-bad-smell! 🙄

The vintage Chanel Égoïste Platinum (until 2015) is EXCELLENT. An authentic all year round, all occasions 10/10 MASTERPIECE, IMHO. 💙💙💙

I smelled it last week at the airport along with all the rest of Chanel and bought it today! I already have BDC edt and I liked the Allure line etc, but Egoiste Platinum is the best! I also own Dior Intense and Fahrenheit and love them both. Thank you for the video.

I've been using GIT for a couple years now. I just recently got a bottle of Platinum Egoiste and the similarities are so close. I'll even say I prefer this than GIT as well!

PE is fresher on holds onto the freshness. GIT has a lipstick vibe in the drydown and morphs more. PE is almost the same from start to finnish. both in a class of their own

I just bought the new CEP week ago, but I find that the scent is bit different with the vintage CEP I bought in 2004 and I no longer have the vintage to compare the scent, and yes the bottle is different, the vintage has the same wide cap and bottle but the new is slimmer cap than the bottle. So need your info about the scent, is the new CEP being reformulated? I found the vintage was more green and old spice but the newest is more tone down. thank you

Longevity is solid 6 hours for me, with strong projection for 2 hours. Compared to my vintage egoiste platinum, those lasted about the same on my skin

for me u need to be atleast 22-25 to appreciate this level of class. if your a man u can wear this on a first date. if your a teen you wear this on the 3rd date so they understand they are not dealing with a joke.

What about franck olivier eau de passion? Do they Smell similar in your opinion?

Extremely similar. But I’d say more similar to earlier formulations of PE, which makes sense since Eau De Passion was released in the early 2000s. Not as high quality of ingredients and the dry down is not the exact but pretty damn close. And for a fraction of the price of PE.

The original Egoiste is very different, boozy cinnamon rose, I think that is one of the most amazing scents ever and does match the name more.

ভাই আপনার সামনে যেই লাইট ব্যবহার করেন এটা চেন্জ করে কোন সফট লাইট ব্যবহার করতে পারেন। কারন লাইটের আলো আপনার চশমা উপর পরে তার ছায়া আপনার মুখে পরে যা দেখতে ভালো লাগে না।

I just recieved a vintage bottle of this in error. Imma give it a chance but it isn't looking good tbh. It's like sauvage 22 years before sauvage. Guess who Francois Demachy, who created sauvage, was working for in 1993...

There’s no metallic note in the dry down. It’s always been in the opening and mid notes. In either case the metallic note has been absent from recent formulations, since 2016 I believe.
