Change How iPhone Notifications Display As! [Top/Bottom/Stack/Count] 

This is honestly the ugliest, most useless update Apple has ever made… Lock Screen is now looking too bold with all those hard lines and lacks the former elegance that it used to have. Notifications are difficult to see and my mind is always confused why they sit on the bottom of my screen. Using apps like Spotify and Apple Music while on lock screen is a horror - all those huge album covers and bright colors prevent you from using your phone for its purpose - communicating through messages and staying up to date with new notifications. As a person who has been using Apple for more than 5 years I am highly disappointed of the new design that’s looking more like android than the original Apple design…

I want my text notifications at the top like it used to be not bottom.

How do u make it show up at the top insted of the bottem? If there is no way, how do I go back to IOS 15?

I hate having to swipe up after swiping down. How do I turn that off? It’s pointless, and I’ve already missed important messages.

Wow, thanks. I had no idea why my List looked the same as Stack. What a dumb and pita way to keep the list mode.🙃 I have given up on List, after changing Phone, Mail, Messages, Voice, it still goes back into Stack with any app you missed like Face Time, Health, Apple TV, etc. RIP List and Cover Flow.

IOS really need to learn a thing from Android about how to display notifications properly. No wonder iphone users are so bad at responding in a timely manner.

Notifications not showing on stack when device is locked and unlocked is ridiculous. What purpose does that serve?

The most annoying thing is now with the List display, if you swipe downwards on the notifications it automatically turns it into the Count display and all the notifications are hidden... WHY? If I wanted them hidden behind a count, I would use the count display fml. Makes no sense whatsoever.

i love the "count mode notification, but it doesn't work as aspected. When i receive a notification it shows the badge, then after a while it disappear and go down to the dots (increasing +1 the count). Am i doing something wrong? This happens with any notification i receive (email, whatsapp, etc)

So you can’t get it to the old way unless you swipe up every time.

I didn't want my screen to wake each time a notification came.tutorials said I should uncheck the lockscreen options under the alerts section for each app. But now the lock screen shows no notifications unless I swipe up..is this just how it is?

I just moved from my old samsung s8 to iPhone 14 and after giving it 3 month benefit of doubt I must say that notifications on iOS are complete disaster. It’s so bad that I really consider going back to s8 or buying a52s. Keyboard also is unusable, file management doesn’t exist, photo gallery is a mess, this phone is treating my like an idiot, trying to be smarter then me and failing every time. Plus for battery life and that’s it

Anyone else show up trying to figure out how to fix the notifications going to bottom? Who’s fucking bright idea at apple was it to do that, in favor of fucking widgets ?! I’ve missed so many messages bcuz of this stupid shit

I can say now android is the king of notifications management and especially samsung UI is best .

Geeesh so basically if you want the old way you have to go to settings notifications click list THEN scroll down to every single app you don't want stacked and turn off notification grouping.. Easy peasy 🙄

I hate iPhone notofications. Its not intuitive. I have my android and iPhone side by side. When i process my emails the notification on my android disappears not the iPhone. They will sit there until i manually remove them. Awful.

This is why I didn’t update for months. They completely ruined the notification display and now I have to pull out my entire phone to check a small text instead of sliding it out an inch which was so much more convenient. They need to stop making things worse. 😡

Why can’t we spread out the Noti’s on a stack for ONE individual app like before?! i want to view all Noti’s for that ONE app at once, so i can quickly glance at them & then clear! smh

Notifications at the bottom is useless literally so easy to miss notifications. Why remove good features just for the sake of an UpDaTe?

The stack is the worst feature ever. Who came up with this, and why do they work at Apple but don’t use an iPhone? Because if they did, they would’ve experienced how impractical the stack is.. Who thought having to swipe up over and over to see the bloody notifications was a good idea.. it’s like this was never piloted or actually used before publishing it 🤡

It's a nice informative video, but this is not strictly a return to old notifications. Please note that Apple in its stupid modification of the system GUI also changed: - increased the size of application icons that now cover more of the read text of notifications, which pisses me off the most, - reduced the amount of information in each notification, - notifications now expand from the bottom in some conical style, - they have a disgustingly pale color for my taste, Apple phones are getting worse. They give the impression of children's toys, contain a lot of system errors.

This is the most rubbish update that Apple have decided to do!! Need to fix or update the app ASAP

There is a design error in iOS UI for notifications. When sliding down to see notifications, the time should show up first followed by notifications. Instead you get this empty space if nothingness and you have to slide all the way down just to see the time and date. Ugliest implementation of this feature and very poor design.
