Is the blue/green dot indicative of TDC on compression stroke?

I notice you did not line up the crankshaft pulley before removing the bolt and the pulley. Wouldn't you need to do so first before removing?

So no new water pump?

I changed it in another video.. you don't have to change the waterpump but might be a convenient time to do so.

I don't remember what I did to reset it, but I think it's the fuse for the instrument cluster.

I recommend to watch a different video because this one is incomplete and he didn’t even explain to line up the camshaft locking tool.

What is the use of flywheel lock if there is already camshaft lock tools?, and also may i ask if the camshaft pulley is having guide lock when removing and installing? Im planning to replace the oil seals both the camshaft pulley and the lower pulley

Just peace of mind I guess; make sure 100% that the timing won't get out while doing the job.. I'm not sure on the camshaft pulley.. did you already complete the job?

@@vanpocalypse3529 still studying and planning when to replace my timing belt and parts, i already have the tools but im also planning to replace the oil seals on the two camshaft pulleys but scared to remove it dont if theres a guide when removing it or else it will be a big disaster 😔

Timing tools are optional. Imo its faster and easier to mark the old belt and transfer them to the new belt

For most do-it-yourselfers, timing tools are recommended to make sure the timing is correct since it could be catastrophic if the car is started out of time.
