I have to do this everyday now with my 2020 c300. 😢 it’s just sad. I feel like I’m driving a piece of junk. I guess I need a new 12v battery but I want to postpone it as much as possible.

My battery is dead and i used the manual key from the keyfob to open up the car and the trunk. Now i have put in to charge but my questions are 1, will the alarm set off when the battery is charged up? 2, can i use the keyfob while the car is in charge?

Its possible the alarm will go off as the battery power increase but honestly not too sure. Have the key handy to disarm it if this happens. If you're charging the battery just keep the key away from the car and focus on getting the battery charged.

Engine need to keep running or turn off?....for how long to recharge the battery?

Engine off!!! Until it’s fully charged. Buy a charger with a gauge so you know.

You don’t show how you removed the red positive battery cover . It only shows after you removed it . Mine is hard to remove, does it slide off or pull off? It’s a question google has many people asking and the one video that I find has skipped over how you removed the red p,attic cover to get to possative port…

Mine says charged then when I open the app to check the battery , says partially charged ( 12v battery). Do I need to turn car on and check it again ?

No, you need to check the 12v battery. If it looks original (branded Mercedes etc) then time to replace it. You'll need to code it in so the car knows its new and doesn't over charge it.
