I have him as of now in my top 3 to win,can only hope for a good post position, he reminds me of how Curlin was at three,when he turned 4 no horse on a dirt track could beat him,good luck.

As much as Charge it left a good impression on me in the Fla Derby and has the pedigree to win the classic races he will need to improve a lot off this race to win and backing him will mean that he can no longer run greenly, not to mention White Abarrio may or may not be the one to beat at all. If White Abarrio is a major player then I could see Charge it improving enough to win, if W.A is not a major player then there probably won’t be enough time for Charge it to improve enough to beat everyone
Charge It is my long shot pick. He's figuring it out now. Tactical speed will place him out of the frey. Tapit out of a winning mare (I'll Take Charge) out of Take Charge Lady. How can you leave him out?
I totally agree with your comment, this horse never gave up on the race, but unexpectedness played against him, he zigzagged and placed himself behind white abarrio
I like this horse a lot. Especially if he is able to lay back not too much, to avoid getting jammed. The horse seems bred to run all day. So, distance is easily within reach. Would love to see him like 10 to 1 at least, if less not too much.
If he gets to the front he will only have to worry about 6 horses, the 20 horse field will only be a problem if he gets a bad start then he will be in trouble...
@@Based___ well that seems to be a problem with tap its they don't seem to have a fast start an old Quarter Horse trainer owner-breeder Marion Seward told me if they didn't have a Gaskin muscle they wouldn't have a quick finish or start and what I seen of the tappets they seem kind of leggy and no Gaskin they need to breed him to a big butt mare!!!
The problem is that Pletcher horses don't come up big in the Derby. I would not put that horse in the Derby if I was the owner. But political pressure might force them to do it. I don't believe that Pletcher can do what Lukas did with his filliy.
Essential qualities rear end was screwed up from being at Churchill Downs his left whirl bone & if I remember correctly it was his right hock that wasn't right Annie ended up in the worst part of the racetrack at Churchill Downs where everybody gallops that track cups out with them badly example is Skipaway was the only race track he never win on!
they need to skip Derby And Preakness with this horse and take shot in the Belmont he's too green plus he lugged in and Jumped leads could be something mental or something physical bothering him but has some talent if it was me the travers stakes would be my goal barring he stays healthy trainer record with 3yo is not good rarely you see them stay sound
