Film description: In a future where mutants are nearly extinct, Logan, the invincible bestial superhero once known as the Wolverine, finds himself getting old, and his incredible healing ability significantly weakened. As an incognito limo driver, Logan does his best to guard and keep out of sight a weary nonagenarian Professor Charles Xavier. However, things will take an unexpected turn when a cryptic woman asks him to transport the young mutant girl, Laura. A better future lies past the Canadian borders for the unaccompanied teenager, but the government is unwilling to let go of its asset so easily. In the end, can the ageing Logan protect both himself and Laura?

This is what frightens me the most about aging. It's not dying. I mean, don't get me wrong, I am concerned about it, but it is an eventuality that comes to all of us sooner or later. What frightens me is living in a never ending state of fear, confusion and hopelessness.

I get what you mean but that does not necessarily come with your age. I lived in that state most of my childhood. I'll probably will be struggling to accept my death but fear, confusion and hoplesness has become a regular thing, it won't break me anymore

Dude I found this to be so sad but beautiful at the same time. All the other mutants technically knew Charles before Logan. He always was a rebel. And to now see him as the only survivor taking care of Charles after he took care of Logan for so long. N they have this father son situation.

Technically if Logan hadn't told Charles and Eric to 'fuck off' he would have been in the first class,and came to know Xavier 40 yrs earlier then he did in the original timeline.Logan really only has himself to blame for that one.He really should have heard them out,he wouldn't have regretted it.

Logan told X-24 it was the adamantium killing him. Adamantium may be toxic to normal humans but he wouldn't normally have an issue with it. It's because the "mutant cure" has destroyed his healing factor that he can't stand the adamantium anymore.

Well at least Charles is pushing 100 yrs old here. This is 2029,and he was born around 1930. He had a fulfilling life and led the X men well up into his 70's and 80's in relative good health. A lot of people don't even come close to living this long.

@@peterpan3022 Magneto aka Erik Lensherr is already presumed dead in this film, even without showing that he's dead, evidently. It's because Charles himself can be able to tell when a mutant is hurt, captured or die and he basically will be able to read their consciences at will. So therefore he remains as the most powerful mutant to still be around, if anything.

I love the similitudes between the water tower where Xavier lives and Cerebros machines from x men franchise. The holes in the sheet remind me of the minds of mutants and humans that Xavier could track and see in Cerebro. Great and lovely details.✨♥️

Honestly, the scene is hard to watch sometimes. Because Charles, the Greatest of the X-Men, THE X-Men, is broken and has lost his way. He can’t control his powers and has hurt, and have done worse to many people he helped bring up in the world.

Its so scary that you know when Charles uses his powers, he freezes people in their place, but in this its a more intense version of it. It says later on in the film this killed most of the students in the school. Its scary, but at the same time its sad because its not his fault.

The only explanation I can think of from the top of my head goes something like this: Perhaps Logan didn't do that, so that if Charles had a seizure, he would know about it, as he's the only one who can power through the affects to help him nullify it. There's also the fact that even if he had thought of it, he wouldn't be able to ask Eric how he made the helmet, or what it was made from, since he's been dead a long time now. Flimsy justifications perhaps, but that's what I got lol

It is revealed in the movie that they added anti-x gene stuff in the water and food which is why there are so few mutants left, and also explains how Logan's healing factor is decreasing, allowing his adamantium skeleton to poison him
